Okay I tested these by next to leading brands wow ? Yes these was way better and not dried up plastic that cracks when twisting it to the wall with screw driver 🪛 durable strong will last. I think these others use a cheaper ABS plastic that cracks intentionally so you will buy again, not smart this is why company loose customers cheap quality. I gave these guys 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ well package and as listed thank you

I've never used this style of drywall anchor until receiving this kit but I now prefer them to the other types of anchors I've used over the years. These anchors install quickly and accurately producing strong anchor points.The first two times I tried screwing them into position with a manual screwdriver which worked but the process was rather awkward since the anchor doesn't drill through the drywall very efficiently. The anchors were rather hard to control initially and quite a bit of pressure was required to get them to drill through the drywall until the threads engaged. Thereafter I used a drill which was faster and easier since it provides consistent and rapid rotation, drilling through the drywall more efficiently, although you must still push quite firmly until the treads engage the drywall. I suspect drilling a 1/4" pilot hole would make installation a breeze with a drill or manual screwdriver, though I haven't found doing so necessary. After the threads engage the drywall the anchor quickly seats firmly. And once the metal screw is screwed in the anchors are very solid. I like them!

I have installed 6 of these anchors so far. I have found that they do not do a good job of self-drilling, and what ends up happening is the screwdriver bit slips out of the anchor and puts a dent in the wall. I ended up pre-drilling all of my holes with a 3/16" drill bit, and then the anchor goes in smoothly and securely.The included screwdriver bit isn't really a good fit for the anchors or the screws. I had it strip both the anchors and the screws during installation. I ended up using my own Ryobi "PH2" size Phillips head, and that worked out better.Installation gripes aside, once these are in the wall they are solid. I have used other self-drilling anchors that were actually able to drill into drywall, but they were also a bit looser once installed. For this reason, I still recommend these anchors even if they aren't as convenient to install as advertised.

I have bought a number of X Protector things before and I have come to really trust the brand. Whether it is cabinet bumpers or felt pads for furniture they work great and this drywall hardware kit is no exception. Everything is packaged nicely in a box so you can just toss them in a drawer for easy access when you need to mount something on your wall. The anchors work very well! You just need the phillips bit that it comes with and hold the plastic anchor against the point you want to drive it into your wall and drill it in! Then follow up with one of the included metal screws and you are done! No hammering or drilling as the plastic anchor is self-tapping.For something you need to be very detailed with like a long mirror or a shelf that you want to make sure is level you may want to use a small drill bit or a nail in the area you need to drill so that the plastic anchor doesn't wander but it is not neccessary and does not increase it's functionality as this is very good as is.I truely like that this is in a plastic box that you can reuse. I can't tell you how handy it is to have this as a "kit" where if you need to mount something to a wall and there is no stud, just grab your drill and grab this kit and you are ready to go. It has the bit, the screws and since the anchors drill themselves in you don't need a separate drill bit.The anchors are very strong if you are mounting on the wall, for ceiling mounting I would maybe try something that has a toggle as these can pull straight out if you really try hard enough just like the hammer-in type of plastic anchors. I have these anchoring a hook that I use to hold my battery-powered string trimmer and it hasn't came loose one bit! Of course I am hanging the trimmer without the battery installed so it isn't terribly heavy but it does get jarred around a bit and I haven't had issues. I will probably do something a little more heavy duty in the future but for the one tool I am hanging it is fine.The only thing I would consider when committing to these anchors is that they will leave a large hole when you remove it. Like one you could stick a finger inside... so I wouldn't use these casually. I use different anchors when I need something small and light duty.
