I’ve had one hell of a week! I ordered my bar light and someone stole it off my porch. I didn’t get home off my job until 10 pm.These guys sent another light out just in time for me to start my new job! I was able to get it installed and I am so grateful! The light is bright and it’s perfect for my truck it sits I’m higher than I thought it would and it’s so easy to install ima girl and could have probably been able to do it myself!!This company is fire!!! Not the quality I expected at all. I installed it with 30 years experience, after two days in the truck I walk out and one end is lit up and won’t turn off. Upon activation the other end doesn’t light up at all. Pretty disappointing to say the least.

I bought this light bar because the normal place I buy from was out of stock. It was a backup so it sat in the box for about 6 months before I needed to put it on my vehicle. When it did get installed, two of the lights on the back already didn't work and since it was past the return window, I couldn't send it back. It was a bright, highly visible light, and had a good selection of flash patterns. I ran into the second problem when the light bar would turn on by itself, only when the weather was cold, that killed my car battery twice before I started unplugging the control box inside the car every night. Then I had the light off, and several of the LEDs would stay solid illuminated, all of those lights eventually stopped working entirely. I won't buy another of these, the money I spent on this, I added another $100 and finally bought a new light bar from a reputable company. I did not have good luck with this light, buy and use at your own risk.

This light bar lasted less than a year from installation. Within the first 3 months, the 2 side lights went out. It claims to be water resistant but you could see the condensation from the elements. At about 14 months, only 2 sections in the rear of the light bar dimly worked. I've purchased other light bars in the same price range that lasted longer

The light itself is great. Well constructed, super bright, good mounting hardware, good switch, etc. the DIY install was somewhat of a pain due to cable routing and removal of an old light bar but doable for an amateur like myself. The switch is good too, it displays the current pattern and has some nice recall, quiet, front/back and cycle / auto options, and that brings us to the greatest disappointment with this light bar: the flash patterns. They are awful. It is like they were designed by a monkey. Most of them are complete random Tetris-stack nonsense or full blast seizure-inducing strobing. The main reason I got this was to use as a traffic advisor when stopped or escorting on the highway - and that - I did not get. There are some patterns that get close, but none of them is the full on go around left or right. There are some 5 patterns that look like half-hearted go around to the right (?!) and only one that looks like a partial go around to the left - In a country where we drive on the right and people would need to go around on the left In most situations.Perhaps I should have installed it with the back pointing forward or perhaps upside down. The most annoying missing feature is that patterns cannot be reversed. So for instance, there’s a half decent go around right that can’t be switched to be go around left in the same exact pattern mode. What a disappointment. My old light bar that was half the size (and price) had infinitely better patterns than this. Please, Xsprite, put out a controller with at least some useful patterns for advising traffic and I will buy it separately. The fact that you are producing and selling a full length, 48-inch light bar without proper traffic advisor patterns is baffling.UPDATE: After ~4 years, it still works but 2 LEDs burnt out and the housing turned yellowish. I picked up an open box unit on Amazon and refurbished mine by swapping out the burned LED pods and replacing the housing. Both were fairly easy to do, as the design is modular. The LEDs unscrew and unplug from the main board, while the housing slides off whole (8 screws holding it at the ends). Knowing it's prone to leak, I also sealed the plastic-aluminum housing interface with RV clear sealant - I had done this on my original one too and it stopped the fogging up. I treated the whole unit with graphene coating to slow down the aging process. In terms of reliability, I must admit it's not too bad compared to other lights I have had, and certainly easier to repair. I stand by my original review that the patterns are awful, buy as a light / hardware kit, not bad actually. 4* would be a fair rating for withstanding 4 years of abuse while being outdoors virtually all of that time in a harsh climate (-25 winter lows to +35 summer highs).I believe some simple updates to the controller and better water seal would make this an excellent product.

I've had this light on the truck for about a week now. Very nice light. Plenty bright. Easy to install. I initially contacted customer service thinking I had a bad control box. Turns out it was a faulty ground. Customer service was super responsive. US based call center and they actually emailed me back within a few hours. I always feel like I am rolling the dice buying light bars online. I think you can buy from these guys with confidence. In the future I'll certainly be buying from them again.
