If you are like me this seat is a little small. (6'4" 240lbs). If it were 4-5" wider it would be the perfect addition to your longer sits in the tree stand. It could be a little softer as well. Maybe with more time the material will break down a little. It does live in the stand and has held up to the elements well.

I am not sure if the reviews that are stating this cushion flattens outs with no support over time unless they changed the design. This cushion is 2+ inches thick and very stiff where when you sit it is does not have much give at all so having it 2 inches thick when less than an inch would do is not clear to me. I did not end up keeping this seat as my 3/4" stock tree stand cushion which is also very stiff is providing the same level of comfort in a much smaller profile. I was hoping for a more balance between support and cushion. I did not sit in this for hours but I don't think it would even flatten down over time like others have said.

I have nothing bad to say about this seat. It's a great upgrade to most lock on stand seats. I can sit all morning on this seat and have no issues with it. Also, it doesn't soak with water as some do. I would definitely buy another.

DO NOT BUY!! I can count on one hand how many times I have wrote a review for something I purchased. I purchased this for a hang on stand. I decided to go with the XOP brand because typically their products are a better quality. As soon as I opened my package, I am instantly disappointed. This cushion flattens to absolutely nothing with me simply pushing down on the cushion with just my hands. I honestly thought I accidentally only bought a shell and that maybe I needed to put my own padding in it. That’s not the case. Don’t waste your money!!! Anybody who gave this more than 1 star has never sat in a tree stand.

Was hoping the thicker pad would help out on those long sits but I have to say that is not the case. It serves its purpose and seems well made but definitely not sitting on a cloud!

I would buy even if you don't need one, cause eventually you'll need one and I promise you're not going to find one at this price...Quality made and very nice on the glutes...
