I have had this installed continuously for over a month testing it, it’s secure and my magnetic clamps for my laser level work great with it, no slippage.Wish I had bought it sooner, this would have helped with several projects even just using it as a ceiling clamp.

Looked at a lot of choices and reviews before picking this one. Works great. Used it for hanging a wall cabinet and holding up framing for closet doors. Highly recommend this product.

Very happy with these poles. I had held off on buying the ones from the big box stores for quite a while before choosing these. The quality appears to be just as good as its competitors, and at a great price! Now that I have them i use them all the time! One negative would be that there appears to be an oily substance on the rubber pads which left some residue on a white ceiling. A simple clean rag in between it and any finished surfaces would be recommended.

These adjustable support poles were a lifesaver during my cabinet installation project! They’re incredibly sturdy and had no trouble holding the weight of the cabinets securely while I worked. The premium steel construction feels solid, and the adjustable height range (15.7” to 26.4”) was perfect for getting the cabinets into just the right position. It’s like having an extra pair of hands that don’t wobble or give out.The grip on the ends is firm without damaging the surfaces, and the poles stayed in place even when I had to make fine adjustments. Having two of them made leveling the cabinets so much easier, saving me both time and frustration. If you’re tackling a project like this, these support rods are worth every penny—they turned a tricky job into something much more manageable!

It's not as stable as I would have liked, but I think that's because of the purpose to which I've put the thing. If you're holding up a significant weight, that weight will help keep it stable. I'm holding up part of a ventilation apparatus; it's not very heavy so there's no downwards pressure keeping the support in place. But it does its job fine for the most part anyway.
