Really nice coupling. I like the two different size ends and that the spider design still has cushion between the coupler halves but it is about half the amount you see normally on this type of coupler. I have been wearing out couplers on my CNC machine in the x direction and this will probably fare better than the others because with less cushion, there is less play. I mill aluminum and I need the coupler to respond without play but still have some tolerance for backlash. I never find the exact size I need when I mate two dissimilar shafts (ex. stepper motor and screw drive).
