First, open the Crystal Humidifier Jar and Xikar PG Solution.
Second, fill to full line the Xikar PG Solution into the Crystal Humidifier Jar
Third, just unscrew the top, place the Xikar Humidification Jar in your humidor and it will slowly and steadily release a constant humidity of 70%.

This has worked flawlessly to keep my humidor at target humidity, I use it to refill my Xikar "cigar bar" humidifier and it works with my other one from a different brand. Will buy again.

Propylene Glycol is the perfect solution for keeping your cigars at that 70% relative humidity. Good thing is that it does not evaporate as quickly as distilled water. For two bottles you cant beat the price. Depending on how large your humidor is this will last you a while which is a great value. Xikar brand speaks for itself i've used their products for years and wil continue to due to the quality.

(From husband Gary) I have always used some type of "solution" for my humidor. I have read many reviews on here about "just save your money and use distilled water". Folks, I am not a chemist, but obviously there is a reason why they make this stuff. I think Xikar produces wonderful products; I use this solution in the Xikar Humistore that I also purchased on Amazon. Together, my humidor stays at a perfect 70 percent. I consider it a small price to pay to protect an investment. Not only your humidor, but also the sticks inside. I have not had any issues thus far. What I will say is that these products replaced the original sponge credo that came with the box, and it was difficult- no, actually impossible to get the humidor to 60%. This product as well as the Humistore has eliminated my humidity issues! I will also say that there are other products/ solutions that may accomplish the same thing, but I am happy with the Xikar solution.

This, along with the crystals, is what every cigar smoker needs for his humidor. My house is very dry in the winter months and this stuff keeps my cigars in great smoking shape. I travel for a living and don't want to worry about my sticks getting ruined by a lack of humidity. The price was great, shipping was quick, and it is very easy to use. I highly recommend this product.
