This item is not acceptable for windshields. It's way too shiny and glares into uncon coming traffic eyes. Quite certain this is illegal in all states including using it on side windows. Way too shiny for Windows also illegal on headlights. Great for other things but not so much the car windows be careful.

I used this tint not on my windshield but on my sunroof. It is a big sunroof that has a cover that you can open and close to allow light and heat in. This tint was easy to put on. I like the blue color on the inside and I can now let in the light and keeping the car cooler. Seems like it is good quality. I like it.

I used to live in a place where this was not exactly legal. I recently moved and noticed quite a few people around me had this done to their vehicles. I ordered this product and installed it myself, and it really does help keep your car cool in those very hot summers. It also gives you more privacy since it is much harder for someone to see in the car from a distance of more than a few feet. You don't even really need to wear sunglasses anymore!!My only warning for people is that if you do a lot of driving at night, it is much harder to see out of your windows with this on. On the plus side, annoying LED headlights or people that drive with their brights on won't really affect you anymore.
