These use non-standard sized bimini hardware and tubing. The plastic end pieces do not fit into standard metal bimini hardware easily. You will need to somehow shave them down and/or jam them in to fit. The bigger issue may be the fact that the tubing is NOT standard 7/8" and 1" as you would expect, so if you decide to replace the junk plastic ends with higher quality stainless parts you will be in for a rude awakening, as these will be loose on the tube and not work!Bottom line: this stuff is cheaply made and will give you headaches; find something better! (Note: I have seen multiple sellers selling what appear to be the exact same cheaply made Chinese support poles under several different brand names. Look closely at pictures of other listings.)

The struggle to overcome a raised Bimini and up to 6 rods out trolling. Straps are in the way, Bimini tubing also in the way. Seemed too cluttered until I moved the Bimini forward two feet, I actually have these for the front adjustable struts as I drilled out two rivets to allow for a little more adjustability. Looks like I wanted it too, and it's will hold up under way, and, from middle of the boat back is all open now. And didn't even sacrifice stoability in folding down the top as well. I'm happy with it.

I did not use these adjustable supports for the rear of a bimini top, as they were advertised. Instead, I added them to the front of the top to support the front above the windshield so that the base of the top is parallel to the boat rub rail. I secured them to a pair of Mizugiwa Quick Release Swivel mounts on the gunnel so that they can be easily disconnected from the boat, then folded inward so the top can be rolled up and secured at the windshield without removing any hardware (screws, nuts, washers, etc.). Next, I will work on tightening the top to remove the slack a bit to keep it from buffeting in the wind at speed, but the adjustable supports are strong, attractive, and working great! Good product!
