I got this for one reason only - to keep dust/dirt out of the ice machine. There is a small gap on the edges of the lid, and we have our ice machine outside on our back patio. This cover makes it a lot more difficult for dust and dirt to get in. It doesn't fit perfectly though. It fits well enough, but the clear area for the display doesn't line up if you get the top part perfect and the top part doesn't line up right if you get the display part perfect.

I have a 120lbs/24H ice maker and thought this would be a nice addition to keep my investment clean. However, this is much too large for the unit and looks funny. I would confirm the measurements of your unit before you purchase this.The material seems sturdy and the vents are in the correct place.

This cover is good for a residential ice maker that gets stored outside and is not used continuously. I wouldn’t use it for commercial duty or everyday use. Here’s why:Fit - it will fit any of the numerous 100lb style ice makers that are roughly 18 inches wide. The fit is not particularly tight on any of them. Think of it as a semi loose storage bag rather than a form fitting cover. If I was getting into the ice maker continuously, the flap on the top would be a pain since it just lays there and doesn’t attach to the ice door.Material - the cover is lined nylon. There’s a reflective liner to help deal with the heat. It does a good job at protecting the unit itself while not getting moldy or retaining water.Extras - the cutouts are roughly all correct. You can see and operate the control panel, ice door connections, etc with the cover on. There’s Velcro to keep the flaps open or closed. There’s netting over the condenser vents. Should do a good job of keeping the critters out .
