Right out of the bat the quality seems to be nice. The cord feels hefty. But just be aware if you have a thick case on your phone that the 90° charger end may not seat completely to charge your phone. Other than that good buy….

Heavy duty and solid. Some cheapie "USB 4" cables thrown in as an afterthought with some peripheral purchases only support USB 3 on Mac. This one is the real deal for Thunderbolt.

This is a really nice cable for connecting a laptop with DisplayPort via USB-C and Power Delivery. I have it connected to a Dell S2722QC.

Strong well made cable, works well. BUT ALL my previous short cables of this type have failed within a year. This one seems strong and well made, lets see how it lasts. If it lasts it will deserve 5 stars

The one thing I needed this to be was flexible. NOW THIS IS NOT SUPER FLEXIBLE, like some cables, but given the speeds its rated for and the amperage, it's as flexible as they can make this. You can do good amount of cable managing with this cable and I do believe it would work safely at 240W as its rated for.

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro with the M3 chip. I really do wonder why I waited so long. Turns out to be a great purchase. I wanted to use an older docking station that my wife had so that I could connect the external accessories: monitor, keyboard, mouse and Ethernet cord to the station and not have to fuss with all those connections. In addition, the docking station should be able to power the laptop so that the battery is ready to go when I take the Mac on the road.I was lacking the cable that connects the Mac to the docking station. I tried using one of my USB C cables—it did not work. The video would not display and the keyboard was being ignored as well.I tried several of my USB C cables. All with the same result. This cable is a Thunderbolt 4 cable and is advertised to carry both power and data. It is a heckuva lot cheaper than buying a new docking station. So I thought, “Why not?” and purchased it.Sure am glad that I did. Immediately, every peripheral worked. No muss. No fuss.Worth every penny. If you are having trouble getting a peripheral to be recognized by you laptop, through a docking station, then I would strongly suggest giving this cable a try, before tossing out the docking station.Good luck!

This cable provides a very fast data flow as well as full current capability. The 90-degree connection reduces strain and clutter. It’s well made and looks like it will prove resilient.

Bought these to replace the cables that came with my 2 SSD enclosures. With my Macbook Air 2020 (M1 chip), I constantly had my two SSD drives disconnecting with no way to remount them other than unplugging and replugging--not good. The issue had something to do with my CalDigit Element Hub (super quality hub) vs how it interacted with the Macbook Air. I have come to suspect the Air doesn't have that much power and the data connection is on the edge for the super high speed of my SSDs.I first bought a Xaosun cable about a year ago to replace the high quality cable that came with the CalDigit because of endless dismounting SSDs. It would happen randomly every hour to 4 hours. The Xaosun connecting the hub to my Macbook reduced this to once a day or even none. I could switch back to the old CalDigit cable and immediately I would have the multiple dismounts return. The Xaosun really made an instant difference. After many months, I decided that, just maybe, if upped the quality of the cables that connected the CalDigit to my 2 SSDs--maybe it might fully end the dismount problem entirely. But again, it would force me to buy 2 more cables. I waited. But eventually, I was so sick of random dismounts--even if now only once a day--I went ahead and got two more cables. It was a very wise move. I've not had a dismount occur since installing the Xaosun cables.I had read many say how much cables make a difference in the world of SSDs, unlike in the past with standard hard drives. I'm a full believer now and very happy I got the Xaosun cables and FINALLY, after almost a year, I have a super stable system with 4 drives connected to my CalDigit--2 SSDs and 2 platter drives. No issues.Xaosun are quality cables and meet the max specs that exist currently and were better than any of the stock cables that came from CalDigit or with my SSD enclosures.I'm very, very happy.
