The package could be better (I transferred them to a mylar bag), however the wing-nuts themselves are high quality, with smooth threats ,and precisely the right size and threading. Overall, I'm happy with them!

I had expected zinc-plated steel hardware, but upon receipt it felt lightweight like aluminum. Went back to the description, and further down below 'zinc-plated', it does specify 'zinc die-cast'. Not sure how zinc would be considered 'Heavy Duty'.The packaging is a bit awkward. After painfully removing five staples, it turned out that the hard plastic is not useful for storage. Even the labeling is odd ' 50 pcs asst set silver'.Anyway, used a few of these on 1/4 screws to secure something lightweight indoors, with no problem. The built-in washer sure is a nice feature, as in my case where I had to reach high up. Didn't have to worry about dropping a separate washer.

These are basic wing nuts. They're not high-end fasteners; they're pretty thin and have some rough spots, but they fit the bolt fine, and will work great for our basic use of attaching home-made perches and toys to a birdcage.

Good basic wing-nut with integrated washer. They're a common size so it's good to have a lot of them on hand for different uses even though I only needed about 4 of them. The package that they come in is stapled shut and then it doesn't close back up so you'll have to get a different container to keep them in.

Husband is pleased to have a supply of these wing nuts, and says they'll be very useful in his ongoing robotics projects. The wing nuts are made of zinc material, and though they are lightweight they are well made and fit well.

Reviewing: Xadnitu 50 Pieces 1/4''-20 Washered Wind Nut, Zinc Plated Hurricane Hardware Nuts, Butterfly Nut with Washer for Fasteners, SilverI got these to stock my supply of nuts since it seems like 1/4-20 wing nuts are the most common and can never be found when you need one. The nuts are threaded well and fit perfectly. I like they have an integrated washer for more surface contact and I don't need to find a separate washer.What I don't like is the packaging. It is hard to get open and worthless for storage.I immediately noticed these nuts are lighter than others I have. As I compared them I realized they are completely unaffected by a magnet, unlike others I have that are at least minimally magnetic, which is consistent with them being made of zinc. Apparently these are zinc die-cast nuts with little to no steel in them.I think these nuts are good for light-duty applications but would question their use in applications where nut strength is important.Nice price for a good supply of wing nuts.

After putting up and taking down the hurricane shutters here in Florida this summer, I lost and broke several of these wing nuts. These are perfect replacements at a cost the same as a handful at my local store.

I like the washer being part of the wing nut so it distributes the torque evenly over certain materials. These are not real heavy duty nuts but for my intent, that is fine. I am happy and I hope this was helpful.
