Following check-engine light codes, I replaced the fuel pump (behind driver seat) and the fuel sender on the idle pump (behind passenger seat) of my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe SE about a month ago. Check engine light went off right away. I am really pleased with quality and price. You get this at a fraction of the OEM part costs.

So my 2007 Santa Fe fuel gauge quit working I went to a local parts store each sensor was $190 each aftermarket made by Dorman so $400 for both I was like 😳 so at that price I’ll now go and get a quote at the Hyundai dealership and at the dealership the oem Hyundai sensors were same price $190 each so I’m looking at $400 to fix this problemI came home and browsing on Amazon and it popped in my mind to just for kicks & giggles search for fuel sensors for 2007 Santa Fe here on Amazon and there you go the sensors popped up 2 sensors total cost $28 for both arrived in 4 days compared them to my original ones and to be honest there was no difference it was identical probably built better actuallyI installed both sensors and bam 💥 the fuel gauge now works perfectlyI paid $28 for both sensors and $30 for a lock ring tool also from AmazonI recommend those sensors for your Santa Fe if your fuel gauge don’t work those sensors are great and they work and accurate

The sensors presently are working after about a month of use. I cannot attest to the longevity of these parts.I was not going to pay 10 times for basically the same sensors to fix my fuel gauge problem which was required to pass my States Inspection. I don't provide technical advice however I will make an exception in this case-I Recommend:Researching numerous YouTube videos because there are slight differences with various vehicles and with the clips for the fuel lines.Taking the O-rings out before you intend to do the installation and placing them on a funnel or some other sort of jig to impart or form a circular shape. The rings will be in a rectangular form and will not conform to the O shape necessary to seat into the top of the pump. You will not get it on because everything has to be in perfect alignment. (I actually used my old O-ring on one of the pumps)Find a correct compatible lubricant for the O-rings. Some plumbing parts etc. specify / require certain lubrication, not all oil works and I did not know what to use.Do not contact me with general questions or product data query / inquiries I am not an expert on anything and review is subjective. All of the product data is provided in the description. Please call or research online the manufacturer for more product information.
