These are total junk the first one I pulled out of a bag of 5 had one side of the end broken, then the next 4 were so poorly made none of them would fit on a standard valve core

Bought this pack of valve stem tools due to losing mine so often, bought this 5 pack to ensure I make sure I have a back up when loosing mine, found that the bright red handle parts help me find them in my junk drawer in my tool box.

every one of these the metal turns in the plastic handle so you can't tighten the valve core. useless

Great price. Auto parts stores want 9.99 for a single tool. Get 5 for the same price and these are much better than theirs at the parts house.

The cross groove on the tool's tip is too narrow to fit over the cross bar of the valve stem. And, the bore in the center is not deep enough to swallow the tip of the valve. By tipping the tool to one side and pushing down really hard, I was able to just get hold of it and unscrew the valve stem. It was absolutely impossible to get it back in.I guess I could attempt to modify the tool with a needle file and drill the center deeper. But, I shouldn't have to and they accepted the return easily.
