Had to replace an old irrigation controller where you needed an instruction manual and a degree in programming to change the schedule .....what a pain. This is MUCH better. Just load the app and set your preferences and I love the fact that with the app I can easily change the program. This is expecially critical when we have very hot desert summers and I really need to increase the watering duration and number of times per week.........and I don't even need to be in the house to do so. Very awesome for the price !!

Was replacing an OLD Rainbird with is abysmal interface. Removed my old controller and installed this one, super easy as I had never done it before. I had to re-seat a few wires but the connections are push-in type so really easy. The display is simple, smalle, black with numbers 1-8. That’s it, everything is done thru the app. We live in South Carolina and get a lot of rain each year, about 48in, so I don’t need to run a schedule. When we get a week where the forecast is little to no rain, my wife and I love to sit on the back deck, with a glass of wine, and one of us grabs our phone to start watering the back yard. It’s beautiful.This is my first Waze product and it’s just incredible for the $. Get it and STOP mussing with all the silly dials and switches that make ZERO sense in all those old controllers, there is a better way, and this is it!

I replaced a dying Rachio with this controller. I took a chance because my system has 14 zones, more that a single controller can handle. I am happy I did because it turns out that by pairing two of them and putting constraints on watering times so they don't irrigate at the same time, they work. The setup is super simple and I got one year access included. After one year it will be about $10/yr per controller. Since the algorithms seem to work much better than Rachio's and my lawn, as a result, looks better, I think I am happy to pay that. The fact that two controllers were cheaper than a Rachio off the bat helps too, although the difference will be eventually be absorbed by the sprinkler plus fee. I certainly recommend this controller. Good job, Wyze.

When I found out that Wyze had created a smart sprinkler system, and especially for the price in the mid $60s, I ordered one immediately.The Good: Instructions on how to replace existing sprinkler controller with the Wyze sprinkler was easy to follow on the app.The Bad: Nothing works as advertised. For the first year, while under the "Sprinkler Plus" subscription, the schedule worked. Then, when I added a new schedule as I had installed new sod in the backyard, the fixed schedules stopped working.The schedules still showed up on the app, and pretended to be going, but the sprinklers would be inactive. The only way the sprinklers would work was through a "Quick Run" manually turning the zones on. One at a time. Stupidly annoying.Obviously, I tried to reach out for technical support, but Wyze is set up to never let you actually speak to someone. You'll first be directed to send an email, which I did, and then received a "troubleshooting" email that was the exact same information that was on their website. I then replied and said that I had attempted all of those steps, at which point, the next email directed me to send in a log and connect to their "Wyze Wizards" customer service.Then link in the email sends you to a page which then doesn't actually connect you to a person, but a digital assistant. That AI just spits back stuff to their troubleshooting web pages. I had to try multiple iterations of "let me talk to someone" before finally getting into a queue 8 people long to wait for person to chat with me about my problem.Keep in mind that this is what the email had said my next steps were.After connecting to the actual person, she made me screenshot things from the app, verified my products were up to date on firmware (obviously I had already done all of that before), but I complied with each step of her instructions. Then finally because she couldn't figure out what the problem was, she offered to connect me to the email tech support! The exact process that I had used to get to talk to her! Basically, she's offering to send me in a circle of time waste.I told her I had already done that, and she then offered to check on warranty. Oops the product was now 3 weeks out of warranty and nothing could be done.I'm writing this review immediately after finishing my time-wasting conversation with their tech support.Don't buy this product. It supposedly has all the features you want and need, but the product sucks and doesn't work as advertised. I can not give it more of a fail.

My experience with sprinkler systems is that they are made to be used and installed outside. I was quite surprised when I found out that it was made to be installed indoors. To bad. I have had good luck with other wyze products.

I have had this 4 almost a month now. The installation and setup was simple, its great to be able to remotely control the zones from anywhere. The DC Adapter does hum, which is a little concerning and googling this I have found similar reviews of this going back to 2021. It does not seem to be heating up though so perhaps this is normal. Also as other reviewers have noted the app interface is easy to set up, but there is no on/off for a schedule once it begins running...for example if you have a schedule run and realize you want to turn it off you have to select "skip zone" through all the zones to run through the scheduled cycle. Its a minor inconvenience, but I believe they're still making improvements to the app as their was a recent update where you can now pause all schedules with a touch of one button, so they are making improvements to the app. Despite this it is still simple and a great feature over the old analog/digital timers that are not wifi controlled.

Super easy install and the device looks great. The controls on the front are simple but I always use the app. I have wyze cameras and was already familiar with the interface. I like having one app to control many smart devices.The sprinkler controller has worked flawlessly so far. It's simple to set a schedule, turn it off as needed, manually water individual zones, etc. The price for this unit was as good or better than comparable leading manufacturers like Hunter and RainBird. I would never go back to a "dumb" system because the app model works so well. It makes troubleshooting individual sprinkler head or zone issues MUCH easier.I don't really use the Wyze rain sensing service so I can't comment on how well it works. The only complaint I have is that the individual wire connectors don't have much bite. Not a huge deal hence the 5 stars still.

Los aspersores solo funcionan por un segundo, escribe pidiendo soporte, pero no hay respuesta. Busque en internet y parece una falla común, pero sin resolver inclusive en la pagina del fabricante. Estoy en proceso de devolución, seria la segunda vez, la primera ni siquiera encendió.

Didn’t need tech support because this was the easiest out of 5 controllers I’ve installed over the years. Programming was the simplest I’ve ever done as well! I didn’t bother with the plus feature or registering and the app still works properly. This was 1/6th of the local wholesalers price for a controller with less features.
