My ferrets were on a diet of Nature's Harvest. Over the course of 18 months the 2 of them were wasting away, losing muscle and their fur was falling out. I read other reviews but my ferrets are eating this and loving it. I didn't have to slowly transition them, they both took right to it. They are noticeably more active after just a couple of days on the new diet of Wysong! This will be their new diet

Es la mejor opción entre todas que tenemos en el mercado para los hurones (ferrets). Yo se la doy solo para que mantengan sus dientes limpios, pero su comida es pollito crudo pasado por trituradora y se la hago tipo avena espesa y le diluye en agua caldo de pollo (de gato) , taurine y calcio (de humano, por que es mas limpia) depende cuantos tenga es la cantidad.

I adopted two ferrets a few months back. They were on a very cheap diet and were very thin when i got them. I transitioned them over to this kibble slowly and after a few weeks, I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in their health and physical appearance. Their fur is so soft and plush! They smell better and they have gained a healthy amount of weight. In the beginning they did have some loose stools but over time it has improved. My babies love this food and I’m so happy with the results I’m seeing so far.

My ferret comes running when she hears the bag open! So I knew Marshall’s food was trash, and I researched like crazy to find a proper ferret food. I landed on this one having all of the correct nutrients necessary. I was warned my Noodle might have some digestive issues (diarrhea) at first. But my Noodle has had zero issues! I mixed in 10 pieces with the old Marshall’s, to get her acclimated, but she wasn’t having that! She picked out all 10 pieces and only ate those. She could smell and taste the quality. I was afraid she wouldn’t want new food, as ferrets stick with 1 type of kibble, so transitioning can be difficult. Not with this food. This is what she prefers. I was so happy that she had no tummy issues. She is 4 months old, and pretty tiny, and was worried she was under weight. Her coat was scratchy and not as fluffy & full as other ferrets I’ve seen pics of. She also had that bad odor… I didn’t have to search for her, I could just walk around the house and smell which room she was in. (She is too small for the ferret cage we ordered, and can go thru the bars). I am hoping with this food, she gains weight and gets bigger so she can no longer escape. She no longer has a dramatic musky gross odor. Now we can only smell her if you’re holding her. Her odor is now like dark chocolate, which is interesting! So her odor has greatly improved, by far. Her coat is growing longer and she is more soft. She is also getting bigger, which is great. This food is pricey, but so are ferrets, so it is important to invest in a proper food. I highly recommend this food and will start an auto shipment.

I love this food for our ferrets. And my ferrets love it as well. I buy 2 bags and another type of food and it lasts me almost 6 months. It is a very healthy food for ferrets and its a MUST have if you are feeding kibble to you fuzzies.I mix our half and half with another kind of food and keeps my ferrets healthy and happy.Be warned tho if feeding this alone it can cause tummy issues and cause lose stools in your ferrets.The price is actually a good price, there is cheaper prices with other food but they arent nearly as good for them as what this is.I always make sure to buy the white labled Wysong as they did change their formula a while ago and it did cause a lot of pets to become ill or more tummy issues, but this white label is GREAT for them.Its not overly flashy.All in All 4 out of 5 stars is my personal opinion as they dont come in 10 lb bags and that would make life a bit cheaper and with hassle od having 2 bags being delivered.

This food is great!At first my ferrets didn't want to try it. I put it in the cage mixed with thier old food. They ended up eating the old food and leaving the new food.So I put two parts of thier old food and one part of thier new food in my Ninja Bullet. I grinded as fine as I could and spooned out a tablespoon for each and add warm water to make wet food. They inspected it and then gave it a try and ended up eating it.Now I feed them two parts new and one part old and they have no problem with it. One of my ferrets does only eat part of a portion but the other eats his portion and the rest of the others portion.BENIFITS:Thier fur became quite soft compared to it being coarse in the beginning. They gained a healthy amount of weight.NOTE:At first thier stools were quite runny. Gradually they did get more solid again after thier bodies adjusted to the new food. It may take a few weeks but it will happen.If feeding your ferrets a wet mix make sure to feed them a dry portion during the day also. This will help thier stools stay more solid.I haven't changed my ferrets completely over. This is due to the fact one of my ferrets prefers his old food. He still gets a portion of this food everyday. I figure something is better then nothing.IN CONCLUSION...Give Wysong a try. It is a healther choice compared to the ferret food that is offered in the stores. Research and get to know what ingredeints are good and bad in ferret food. Quality food does make a difference.
