Absolutely a must. I will never buy regular paper towels ever again. It's really all purpose . Excellent for cooking and patting dry your meat. I've accidentally put a few through the washer and they were still intact.

These wipes are a great alternative to ordinary paper towels, if you have special needs in a workshop or garage or even the kitchen. Though they will tear, they hold up much better than paper towels, which are increasingly flimsy, especially when wet. These wipes do not disintegrate when they are wet, allowing you to use them to clean glue, solvent, grease, or paint off an item. They are made from pulp fibers on a polypropylene base. They can be washed with soap (or even in the washing machine) and re-used a number of times, which makes them more affordable, or they can be tossed without a lot of angst if you just want to be over and done with one. I personally wouldn't use them for draining bacon, for instance, but for cleaning jobs around the kitchen they are perfect, and for shop use they run circles around regular paper towels. This particular model is a buff color, which I prefer for home use over the blue color that you see in many gas stations. My husband builds guitars and he uses wet paper towels to clean excess glue off joints, braces, bindings, etc. It was always a challenge to find a paper towel that wouldn't fall apart and leave fibers. The WypAll Disposable Wipers are now his favorite go-to item for this purpose.

At first I thought these were just scratchy, cheap, thicker-than-average paper towels. Then put them to the test, and boy, was I wrong.I recieved a sample box to review. The top has perforations, an circle gets completely punched out, and there is a slit on both sides. This enables the wipes to pop out like a Kleenex. With water or spray cleaner, they can be used until they are filthy, and even then you can rinse them and use them some more. They really hold up when wet.

These are basically single sheet paper towels for cleaning messes up. Like Kleenex tissues you can pull them one at a time out of a box. But basically they are just like Bounty towels but in single sheets. OK maybe they are a little more dense than Bounty but there is not a whole lot of difference. Certainly not worth the high price that these command.

I think these would be fine for industrial type uses but they are extremely stiff and rough for just using around the house. I prefer softer paper towels. These are quite absorbent and I will say they do a really good job on cleaning windows or mirrors because they leave no little fibers behind like regular paper towels. Another thing that I don't like is the box dispenser. It clutters up counter space if you leave it out but if it's put in a cabinet it's not easily accessible when you need something quickly to get a spill. They product works and as I said in a restaurant kitchen or auto shop, I can see how these would be more economical than soft paper towels. For my own home use, I think I'll stick with the prettier, softer variety of paper towels.

I don't suppose that paper towels that look tough are a lot different than those that don't, but I felt pretty good about tackling tough jobs with this towel that I'd probably feel less secure using the white ones on the roller in the kitchen. For example, cleaning up grease spots on my workbench or cleaning up a bathroom sink and shower after using heavy powder cleaners like Ajax has turned regular paper towels into shredded rags. Would the same be true with WypAll L10 Disposable Wipers? After testing the towels on both projects--sink and workbench--I found that they held up just fine and did not dissolve or tear when using powerful cleaners that strongly suggest wearing rubber gloves when applying.Seizing the opportunity, my wife suggested a number of projects to try out the towels on for a thorough review. In the back of our house we have a large picture window that looks over a small meadow, a woods and a pond. From this view we watch the seasons and various and sundry critters from the woods and sky. We like to keep it clean so that we miss nothing. The outside takes a scrubbing wand and squeegee with liberal amounts of water, and the inside requires window cleaner and a paper towel. One of the problems that other paper towels have had with window cleaning is that something that goes into the makeup of the towel mixes with the window cleaner and tends to leave a filmy residue. The window is clean, but the residue is visible, and so my hope was that this towel would not leave the residue. Unfortunately, it did. So while it was gang-busters on the tough jobs, it did not prove to be the cleaning towel I'd hoped for when it comes to window-cleaning.I like the handy Kleenex type pull-out for the towels. Roll towels can easily get knocked over and roll around the garage or other work places, but the boxed ones are easy to keep in place and retrieve single sheets. So for tough jobs, I highly recommend these towels
