I always pack a flashlight in my suitcase when I travel so small and powerful are at the top of my list. I have a few tiny flashlights, but none can produce the amount of light this one does. So, it's my travel buddy now.The user interface is uncomplicated. I don't need a disco ball feature, just bright usable light and this provides it in spades. The magnetic tail cap is strong enough to hold it in any position which is a nice feature and comes in handy if you need to work under the hood of your car.The body is thick aluminum alloy, its built like a tank. No worries about durability. The pocket clip is a really nice feature. It can be clipped to a backpack strap, belt or chest pocket. It is really cool looking I find I keep picking it up and looking at it. It was well worth the price I also ordered the extension tube in case I need additional run time by using a full-size battery. The bottom line is this is a serious well-made, almost indestructible flashlight, it just happens to be a small one.

I've been a fan of Wuben lights since I got my first X0. I like the unique design and quality build. So I picked up the newer E7 along with the extension tube and headband. To me this combination gives you extreme flexibility. Here are some pro's and con's compared to my X0 and other lights I have.Pros:-I love the green color and the surface finish looks really nice and will hopefully hold up well. I will update later if I see any unusual wear and tear.-The replaceable battery. That is one thing I do not like on the X0 or X2, not that I have had a need to replace the battery in either of these after years of use, but it is nice knowing it can easily be replaced.-You can use the light while charging. Not that I would do this frequently, but nice to know it can be done if needed.-The rubber USB-C cover is easy to open and I believe will protect the port better than the flap on the X0 or X2, although the flap is fun to play with on these. I will see how durable the rubber cover is and report back if there are any issues.-The availability of the extension tube is one more layer of flexibility. I have a few 18650 cells and being able to use these for either extended run time or just incase adds to the appeal of this light in an emergency.-It clips easily into the headband for hands-free use.-The wider beam spread over the X0 is perfect for use in the headband.-The magnetic tail allows you to mount the light to any metal vertical surface and aim light down. Think changing a flat tire. I've used my X0 for this very scenario and it was extremely handy.-The clip provides a firm hold while still easy to use. The clip on the X0 was too stiff.-The UI is very simple to learn. Single press is ON/OFF, press/hold cycles between L-M-H, double click is turbo and triple click is SOS/strobe.-The low setting is perfect for reading in the dark, typical moonlight mode.-Turbo is extremely bright.Cons:-The USB-C charging does not seems to follow the full USB-C charging standards. So what this means is that if you have a newer charger and use a USB-C to USB-C cable, such as the one provided, it may not work. I tried plugging it into a couple different power banks and my laptop with the supplied cable and another USB-C to USB-C cable and the unit would not charge. I plugged it into an older power brick with the same cable and it started to charge. I then tried a USB-A to USB-C cable on the same power banks and laptop and it charged just fine. I feel this is minor as long as you understand the limitations. I always have a combination of cables with by power bricks, so this will not limit my use.

great light from wuben, excellent useability and portability.. the modular design of the light caters to the user use of the light be it as a headlamp or pocketclip carry.. small form factor even when used with the extended tube.. i do wish it had a 30 to 65 lumen settings but over all i love this mini pocket rocket.. also it's built like a tank 😊** bought a 2nd light.. tan/brass as always excellent quality.. highly recommended.. now if wuben could just maybe put 50lumen interval.. and maybe a small red light ;)

This is a great “go to” every day carry. It’s super bright short range, but very little throw. It’s a great carry walking the dog, or finding your way in the dark. Perfect for a late night raid to the kitchen for a Devil Dog, or finding black in the snow. It’s a great “safety light” when you want to know what’s in front of you.I’m not a fan of pocket clips, but this one is convenient and easy to use. There’s a magnetic tail cap that comes in handy. It has a great actuator located at the top so you’re never fumbling around trying to find it in the dark. They offer an extension tube that’s a nice addition. It becomes a bit more clunky to catty, but it’ll increase your battery life. I bought one, but rarely use it.I’m a big fan of the design…it’s fun. It fits perfectly in my hand and pocket and when you don’t need any throw it’s perfect in the way it brightens everything in front of you.I give it a 10 when it comes to “Fun Factor” If they’d upgrade the throw I’d give it a 10 for performance. That limitation hurts, but if you buy it you’ll use it. It’s not going to wind up in the draw where you keep your coasters and the manual to the microwave you bought in 2014.

Great little light. I have a Armytek Tiara that has a similar size and feature set but I like this light much more. Both have high CRI LEDs, Magnetic bases, simple UI, and pocket clip. The magnet is slightly weaker but the Wuben is also lighter and it holds it up just as well. The thing that gives the edge is USB C charging, so I can charge it on the go, Armytek has a proprietary charger so not as convenient. I will say that you do have to press the USB cable into the light fairly hard but it charges fast and has a decent runtime especially with the cell size.

Durable and easy to carry around. Literally “lights up the room”. The safety feature of locking to prevent it from being switched on accident is great. Easy design to switch from one light mode to another. Overall good item.

I've been using this flashlight for a few weeks now and find it extremely convenient due to its size, USB-C charging port, and overall design. It's perfect to attach to your belt when walking at night because it's very light, unobtrusive, and points light at 90-degree angle. I like the fact that it maintains its intensity setting, so I keep it on LOW when I use it inside the house, only use the higher intensities when needed. One other very simply thing I like it's the fact that it doesn't roll when placed on a bedside table. Often times I've dropped flashlights when trying to find them in the dark because they roll off, unlike this one. The magnet at the base of the flashlight is another plus. I think the WUBEN E7 is a very good / convenient flashlight overall for home and general-purpose uses. Perhaps the only improvement I'd suggest the manufacturer is the rubber cover on the USB-C port, which appears rather flimsy to me. A sturdier cap would make this flashlight a long-lasting and reliable unit.

I am editing my review of this tube expander, it turned out that the shutdowns due to minor impacts were caused not by a tube that was too long, but by a battery that was too short and an unscrupulous seller who sold me the battery, and after measuring it turned out that it was a 18 650 battery and an 18620 battery, and these 3 mm decide whether your flashlight will turn off from minor impacts. In the last photo, I attached a comparison of the 18 650 and the one that was sold to me on Amazon under the guise of this battery.
