1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4.0 AX15 231TC, 2.5" suspension, 1" body lift. 31x10.5x15.Previous owner had a frame swap, and the frame is from a 2003-2006. If you have a 1998-2002 you will use the flared allen bolts. and 2003-2006 you will use the metric hex bolts. This kit has both so you're covered!!I wanted a kit with aluminum spacers, not plastic/ABS or steel. As you can see from my pics, I am in a state the goes heavy on the salt in the winter.Kit was super easy to install. Kit includes all the bolts and washers you'll need, and yes, the both style of the bolts fit in the spacers.Installation is super easy. Chock the wheels, and use a jack and jack stands!! Be safe!!I removed the middle bolt. You can see there is very little difference from my bolts and the ones in the kit. I applied a liberal amount of anti-seize (yes you'll look like the Tin man when you're done). If you don't anti-seize I suggest coating it in some type of rust inhibitor like Fluid Film to help with removal at a later time.I replaced the center bolt with one from the kit, with the washer and anti-seize. I used one of the spacers to measure out how far I should install the bolt. Leaving about 3/8" of extra space. Then I backed out one of the end bolts about 1" down or so, still plenty of thread left. at this point make sure you're jack is ready (I didn't use one, but some might want one just incase). Then back out the remaining bolt... at some point you will be able to sneak one of the spacers in, I suggest installing the center one, so you'll remove the bolt, then install the spacer and bolt but don't crank it down! At this point you can back out one of the end bolts and slide in the spacer... the rest should seem straightforward. If you're handy with the wrench you can do this without a jack but i suggest it if you're working directly underneath. I think it took me longer to wipe anti-seize from my body than it did to install these.I would say it removed about 75% of my vibration in first gear under hard acceleration, and about 90% under light driving.BUT...... There is a catch if you have a 1" or greater body lift!! This drops the transmission down a little and also changes the angle just enough that you cannot hit 2nd, 4th and Reverse fully!!I had to remove my shifter boot and plastic boot retainer. The fix for this is to get a shift link extension!!! The one I found is $90!! So be ready on your maiden voyage out of the driveway after the installation, you don't be able to get 2nd the first try!Since my jeep is a 1999, I know all the rubber boots will need to be replaced, so I purchased all these items Amazon is great, since they are all arriving at the same time!! Typical jeep project creates another project! ha! Say no to ducks and angry grills too!
