I got this item because I am sick and tired of changing batteries constantly on my old monitor. The internal battery in this unit lasts five times longer, and recharges easily. I took it with to my doctors appt. and compared it with their reading, and it was right on the money. I would highly recommend this item.

I like the ease of using it. Fast results. My doctor told me I had elevated blood pressure. The medication he prescribed caused dizziness. I’ve always had BP on the lower side and questioned his readings. Please read the instructions and follow to the letter. Feet on the ground, no talking, place the monitor on the inside of your wrist and keep the monitor at heart level. Not doing any of these will give you a higher BP reading. The last time I had my BP checked at the doctors office the sat me on the exam table my feet were dangling and the nurse asked me questions during the test. It showed an elevated reading. I asked her to redo the test and moved to a chair and did not speak the results were low side of normal…Update: I’ve owned this unit for 6 months and have used it daily. I brought it to my doctors office to compare readings with his BP monitor. The readings were almost identical.
