I've spent hours cleaning copper in the past. Finally gave up on it. WOW, WOW, WOW this is so easy. A minute of putting this on, rinse it off and POOF!!! I will be doing all of my copper in one day instead of days!!!

I've been using Wright's copper cream for years. The last time I bought it, I was actually able to get a 4-pound tub. I have a number of copper-clad pots, so I used it almost daily, but it still lasted a very long time. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find that nice big tub, so I went with these much-smaller containers.Wright's works well, does not contain thiorea (found in Weiman's) which is carcinogenic, which is always a good thing.

I ordered the two-pack, and it seems like the lids weren't screwed on tight because they leaked into the packaging. I've never used Wright's before, so I'm not sure how much of the product I should have in a jar. Either way, I was blown away at how quickly it removed the tarnish from my cookware. The other product I used always required a little elbow grease, but this stuff was rub on and rinse off. I was truly amazed at how quickly I finished cleaning.

Have literally tried so many different copper treatments and this is by far the absolute best. Instant results with zero smell. Rinses easily and cleanly. Had almost given up on our copper cookware because it always looked so dingy, but now it looks brand new. Fan for life.

My local hardware store no longer carries Wright's Copper and Brass Cleaner Cream. As Amazon always seems to have everything I need at a fair price, I checked to see if they carried this copper cleaner - and there it was. So I bought two them. The product works easily and makes our copper pots and pans look great.

I have reviewed this product before, but this review, while still giving an absolute five stars for how well it works, has another goal. I have noticed one and two-star reviews commenting that the jar is only half full. Customers complain they paid for eight ounces, but only get a jar that is half full. Two pictures with this review show the weight of an empty jar and a new jar. Yes, the jar is only about half full, but it weighs eight ounces (off a tiny bit). The product is eight ounces, just like it says; just expect the jar you receive to be filled about half way. That said, this is, by far, the best copper cleaner/polish I've ever used. I have found that if a copper item is lacquered, Wright's Copper Cream will not remove the lacquer, so will not polish the copper under the lacquer. I've also found that if an item, like a copper bottom pan has been run through the dishwasher, the discoloration seems to set harder and take more work to remove the discoloration. Hint: Hand wash your pans and polish them with Wrights. I use it successfully on copper, but find it also removes heat discoloration from stainless steel pans. My Revere Ware is nearly thirty years old and, other than a small dent or two, it looks like new. That is due to Wright's Copper Cream. Short summary: This is good stuff -- very good stuff. If you are worried about the quantity you receive, weight it. The jar will not be full, but the weight will be correct.
