I grabbed this mostly for the wide spreader tool. It will be useful to me for spreading wood finishes on projects. Some finishes you brush, roll, or spray on... others you flood on and spread with a wide "paddle." This 7 1/2" applicator is great for this.Turns out the felt-edged tool is also useful for applying stickers and squeegeeing any bubbles out to the edge where they go away.Didn't think I needed the tape measure but since it's so lightweight, I've taken to keeping it my pocket for quick checks on whatever needs a quick check. And that leaves us with the razor knife... It's crazy lightweight (is it made of air? lol) but works as expected. And it never hurts to have a few spare blades available.Good little kit for a good little price.

This wallpaper kit has a small tape measure, a very sturdy 'Xacto' knife, a large smoother, and a small smoother. The small smoother has a soft felt edge which is great for areas that may need a bit more pressure when smoothing as it helps to prevent rips. I also used the small smoother for applying window clings and it worked wonderfully. I think this is a great little kit to have handy as it can be used for so many household tasks.

Let's be crystal about something. I've hung wallpaper in my life, I pray to never, ever do so again. If I was getting paid to hang wallpaper, I would call these toys.I'm not. Comparing the squeegee to the one you would buy at a Sherwin Williams store, this one is a bit smaller and less flexible, but serviceable. The exacto knife isn't what I'd want to use every day for wallpaper trimming either, but... serviceable for occasional home use.The flexible measuring tape is standard cheap stuff, if you need exact, you would use a steel tape and a straightedge. And there's a fuzzy thing, presumably for running over seams to smooth them down and mate them properly.Nothing here is "contractor quality".For most folks, they need this to apply some peel and stick, shelf paper, etc. It can also be used when applying window films, and it will be adequate for any of these uses.Frankly the only thing I actually NEED this for is to use the squeegee from this and my old wallpaper squeegee to gracefully scrape up dog "accidents" off my carpeting before going after whatever soaked in with peroxide and paper towels, and I have confidence that it's up to that job.As to the rest of the set, can always use another sharp blade, and something to measure the dog's necks and chest with before ordering a collar or harness, so happy to have the cheap backup tools as well.

This set of wallpaper tools is inexpensive, but it does the trick to make applying peel-and-stick just a tad easier. The craft knife is sharp and comes with replacement blades. The smoothing tools help remove wrinkles and bubbles. That's all I needed, so these work for me. The measuring tape feels obviously cheap and I don’t know how long it will last, but it works for now, and it’s not why I got this set, so I'm not worried about it.
