These are really easy to put in probably 30 minutes or less if you have any general knowledge about wiring.

Affordable price, great look, easy install, well-built what more can you ask. Good color spread and worth the extra few bucks over a few others.

Disabled blind spot monitor on my JL so disappointing. Wish I could have the correct harness to fix it since that is what the jeep dealership said I needed. I loved it until then.

There is no clear directions on how to install this product. After we thought we had stalled it. It was not working properly. Finally took it to dealership. Dealership informed me that it could have burnt my module up in my jeep. Had to pay the dealership to unhook and to repair my jeep. Contacted company by email they were expose to replace with a new one that has been upgraded. Asked for clear instructions. Still have not received any new instructions. This product is not a plug and play. Also, my warranty has been discarded due to the way they want you to hook it up. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This review is for the RGB Light for the Wrangler JL (the multi-color light). I installed this - it was trickier than I originally thought - and I ended up wiring it to my right rear tail light as recommended. The links to the videos were not great (various different clips from different installation compiled in a single video), but I figured it out. Once it was all wired up, I thought it was great (everything seemed to work perfectly) - HOWEVER, I soon noticed that I was getting an error message that my right rear turn signal was out and my blind spot monitoring was temporarily unavailable. After some research, I figured out the issue. The "plug and play" wiring harness that connects to your tail light is NOT wired for the premium lighting that includes the blind spot monitor. If you look in the harness, you'll notice there are no wires for pins 8-12 (which control the blind spot monitor sensor in the tail light assembly). Now I'm trying to figure out how to solve for that - possibly by adding wires into the supplied harness adapter to provide continuity for the 4 wires that the supplied harness does not support. If I can figure that out, I'll be golden - but I really wish they had supplied a wiring harness that utilized all the pins and not just the bare minimum base lighting option. I will say, the right turn signal and break light actually works as it should - but the blind spot monitoring does not AND if I turn on the right turn signal, the interior turn signal light blinks fast (as if it's out) AND the spare tire light flashes red (probably because the car's computer is sensing an error from the wiring).I'm presently working with the manufacturer to see if they can send me a harness adapter that works. If they do - I'll change my rating to 5 star. If not - like I said, I'll probably try to add some wiring to the adapter myself.UPDATE- I’m changing my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. The manufacturer sent me a new wire harness adapter that resolved the issue with the blind spot monitoring not working with the original plug and play adapter- great customer service! The only thing I don’t like about the final result is that in wiring this to the right tail light, this means when you turn on the right turn signal, the wheel light flashes red. I think that’s because the same wire/circuit controls both the brake light and the turn signal light - i.e. the wheel light performs exactly the same as the right tail light. I don’t know how to resolve that other than to only use the right tail light wiring for the daytime running light source and ground, and sourcing the brake light directly from the third brake light (above the spare tire). That’s probably more hassle than it’s worth, though, so I’ll likely leave it as is.

So far, this works as advertised. It's plugged into the brakes most of the time, but if I want it to work when the vehicle is not running, we have to plug it into the cigarette lighter in the back of the Jeep. I don't use it for the "always on" feature much, it's not legal here.
