I hung these up even though it’s a little early. See how they would do. I will update later in the year when wasp start appearing. these seem to be really well made, and look realistic. The quality of the build is above average with no flaws found whatsoever. Everything is uniform and well-made. Five stars given.

These decoy nests are woven nicely and really do give the appearance of an existing pest nest! They're large but small enough to not be an eyesore when in use around your home or property. No assembly required, except whatever mounting hardware you may choose to hang them from. Being out of season as it currently is, I haven't yet used these decoy nests and therefore cannot yet attest to their functionality but I have great faith that they will render our outdoor spaces real-pest-nest-free!

The size states 10"" but the body is only 7" then the string takes it to the 10" mark. The woven decoy is perfect, beautifully made. However I have to give it only 3 stars because the string is so thin it's almost thread and in the weather elements it will certainly fall apart. I'm already trying to figure out what I'l replace it with and I'm thinking fishline will hold up very well.

It's February and cold here, but I'm going to give these a 5 star rating. I can't tell you I've mind melded with a wasp and I know how they think, but I can tell you this; These woven, imitation wasp nests look very real and convincing. They are strongly woven and are sized and shaped realistically.I imagine they will last for quite a number of seasons when cared for and brought in for the winter. So it'll go one of three ways;1 - the wasps will see this and go packing over to your neighbor's house to build their nests2 - they'll ignore them, seeing them as fake and build there anyway ... Yup nature is smart!3 - the wasps will will see an easy flip and move in and re-engineer the empty shell to their own specificationsMy money is on number 1. Let the games begin!

I have been battling wasps for the last few months. I have dozens of nests all around my house with several of them at my front door. Having pets, I tend to not use pesticides, choosing natural remedies instead. When I first saw these, I was very skeptical as to whether or not they would work. I was amazed. I hung two of them at the front door and within 2 days the wasps are all but gone. What used to be dozens is now down to two or three. With nests being abandoned. The wasp traps are handmade, so the size varies a little bit. The two that I got were roughly 8 in tall and 5 in in diameter. They look like pine cones and they smell like a corn broom.I love the fact that these are all natural and I don't have to worry about my pets when they're outside. These are definitely a five-star item, and I plan on buying more to hang all around the house. I wish I had found these months ago.

Obviously something like this needs to be in use for a while before its usefulness can be properly analyzed, but I'm pleased so far. These wasp nest decoys are well made, and look like they will hold up for a long time with the woven reed that they are made of. I'd avoid having them somewhere they can get directly rained on, but I don't foresee any issues with hanging them on a porch cover or carport, or really any area prone to wasps and hornets as long as there's some cover (which wasps and hornets usually go for anyway). The fact that there are two of them means you can expand your coverage.Wasps are pretty dormant in my area this time of year, so I won't be able to see if this works effectively to deter them for a few months. They do resemble actual wasp nests; most like a bald-faced hornet nest, but similar enough to other types of wasps and hornets that I expect it to be effective.

We have a HUGE problem with wasps building their nests at our house. Last year, we torn one down, only for them to start rebuilding it almost immediately; by the next day, it was half finished and we had to tear it down again! We wanted a better solution that would PREVENT them from building nests in the first place. I've read online a lot about how even a paper bag can detract them so they seek a different location. I thought these crochet nests would be a better, longer-term solution. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived that they were not made of yarn, but rather crocheted from a thick natural rope and are quite sturdy feeling. I don't expect that they will unravel in the sun, wind, or from birds. I plan to fill them with fabric scraps to fill them out so they look just like a real wasp nest. You get three identically-sized nests for this price, which is not only a great value, but will also protect your entire home from this unwelcome pests. It's winter here, but once spring weather hits, these are going up on my eaves before those suckers even THINK about building their homes here. So happy to get these!
