I bought Work products in the past and have been satisfied. However, this does not edge well at all I have to go back-and-forth constantly like a vacuum to get it to cut the smallest blade of grass. I would not recommend this product

Amazon customers beware of Worx. They make a great product BUT, you may be purchasing a discontinued product. This edger was the second time I bought a product that is no longer available. I purchased this edger 03/21.2024. I wore out the blade and tried to order a replacement pack of blades. Nowhere to be found and a notice from Worx stating that this item is no longer available three Months later!!! A few years back, I purchased a Worx Hedge Trimmer. After 1 year of use, Either the charger went bad or the battery no longer took a charge. They discontinued this item as well. The hedge trimmer was in excellent condition and still sitting in my garage useless as a rock. Before buying from Worx check to see if the product will be around the next 5yrs or so. Good luck.

It does a good cutting job, it’s lightweight and holds a charge great. But there’s not a guide to keep the blade close to the edge of the sidewalk do that it stays in line. I find myself fighting with it to keep it in line. It scrapes the edge of the sidewalk setting off sparks. My old corded edger was great in that regard.

I love my WORX tools. I have several, even 2 of some of them. So I have plenty of batteries too. Here are my thoughts on this one...PROs:The nice big 4ah battery that comes with this tool is great and has a charge indicator light on front. The Nitro battery and charger appear to work interchangeably with my older 20V batteries and tools - sweet! This also comes with a nicer charger than I had before, instead of the little cheapie chargers I had before that slide on the top of the batteries - this on sits in place and you plug the battery in upside down, and it shows charging status on the front lights. The blade and motor are plenty strong enough on a charged battery to cut through tough yard and weeds.Depth of the cut and depth of the edge guard are easily changed and lock in place.Assembly was a snap - took about 4-5 minutes at most and the required hex wrench and nut wrench are provided.CONs:The little edge guard was not super helpful for me, makes it harder to maneuver and gets caught on roots, clumps of grass, etcThe little front wheel on this is too small and gets stuck on any irregularity in the yard, a clump of grass or weed, a chunk of mulch, a dip in the soil.. I wish the front wheel was the size of the back one which would work better. As it is, it's a pain to use on a yard that has a lot of "opportunities" to be smoother. So overall, it's an ok tool for edging. I expected a little more for this price point. If you have a nice uniform yard, go for it. If you have a lot of opportunities like my yard, maybe check out some more reviews and videos on it before you buy.

Met my expectations! It's awesome. Battery life is pretty good.

Very difficult to join two parts of shaft together. I called the customer service line but gave up after it was obvious that the person I was talking to knew less than I did. Finally managed to get it together on my own.The unit has a fair amount of power but I found that when edging thick clumps of overhanging grass I had to raise the blade and then lower it down rather than just plowing right through it.Cannot find the exact blade listed anywhere on Amazon but the literature says other brands with a one inch bore and 8" or less will work.
