The screens are not on top of the frames, they are set inside, which leaves a few millimeters of wood between the edges of the paper pulp and the cloth when you are trying to turn it out to start drying. This makes it difficult to properly get the paper off the screen. Also, The Yellow Sponges have dyed my project and nails YELLOW.

Was able to make a bunch of homemade paper with these, the sponges suck, I use my own sponge but the frames do what they need to and it has not broken or warped yet. I've had these for 2-3 months so far in the summer, so the heat helps things dry right away.I'll update when I make paper in the fall and the weather is cooler.

I didn't notice in the pictures, but this mould is made differently than any other I've seen. The screen is supposed to be attached flat over the surface, but this one has the screen sandwiched inside layers of wood within the mould itself, so it's basically recessed. This is a problem, since it makes it much more difficult to release the freshly pulled paper from the mould. I managed to make it work by lining up a corner of the couching material with a recessed corner of the paper, but I still had to be careful to remove it without damaging the corner of the paper.Anyway, it worked in the end and this one's much cheaper than any equivalent, so I guess it's still a decent option. The materials don't look very sturdy, but they've held up well to plenty of use.

These are fun and easy to use. I wasn't sure what I would use the smallest size for, but they trim down to nice business cards. I would like it if they came in standard US paper sizes - 8.5 x 11 in or 8.5 x 14.

These held up well making about 50 pages of homemade paper. They were easy to clean, just sprayed it out with a hose and air dried. It did a good job of filtering out the water and it comes with two fabric gridlike filter sheets that you press onto and use a towel to absorb the rest of the water and then transfer the paper to the fabric and then to the location of where it will dry. All of the items held up well for the first use. We'll see how it goes for the longterm but overall I am happy with this product. I don't know if it was the consistency of my paper water (it likely was) but sometimes I struggled to get a consistent thick enough film onto the screen (but this is likely user error). Great price for the items you get. The sponge isn't really big enough if you want to make more than two sheets of paper. I just used old towels and they worked better, no need to buy anything fancy for absorbing the extra water, unless you want to.

Paper comes out a little thick honestly more my fault because I think my solution was off. But you can make different sized paper.

I decided to learn how to make paper from recycled paper this year for a Christmas gift. I'm very glad I started small! This is the perfect little set-up for starting out. It made pretty little notepad sized paper and was easy to manage.
