Recently reorganized my 2 channel setup in the man cave. Unfinished basement. It's an actual cave. Was running the speaker wired 45 feet from the receiver to the speakers. Medium quality bulk speaker wire from a big box hardware store.My HiFi sales rep recommended Cardas. The cables I wanted were very expensive. went with World Best Cables 8 Foot.The good:Great packaging. Great box. Saving it. Apple like. Connected to the Rogue CM II and the Heresy IV speakers easy. Noticeable sound improvement. Smooth, full, not harsh, no hissing, no pops. Look great.The It's OK:Cables are very heavy, stiff, huge. I needed a 6' cable but got the 8 so I can move the speakers a bit. due to the stiffness of the cable, I am glad I got the 8. add 2-3 feet when you order these. I need an inter connect and may get some from this company

First, this cable is huge. The main section is a slightly over 1" in diameter. The tweed sleeve makes it look very premium. Banana connectors are reinforced in the middle to compensate for the cable's weight (almost 2.5lbs per cable).Soundwise, they deliver. Being a star quad cable configuration, there are two wires per connectors helping in filtering electromagnetic noise from outside (i.e. AC interference).Switching from my cheap 10awg, this cable has a slightly better clarity, but where it shines is in regards to low frequencies. Bass notes have more authority.A great purchase and it looks pretty good too. Would buy again without hesitation.

Don’t even look at other speaker cables. Buy these and be done with your search. I have had three to four cables pricing from $120 to over $350 dollars, ranging from audioquest and Pangea, and these are by far the best. The packaging is excellent. The cables are beautifully made, heavy, and just feel premium. The bass impact is far greater than with any other cables I have tried. The highs are clean and defined, and the mids are outstanding with great tonality and texture. The are definitely end game speaker cables.

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect, when I ordered these speaker cables, from a company that I had no previous experience with. For the exception of a long shipping time frame, about 10-12 days, it was worth the wait. I've been a serious "Audiophile" for more 30+ years and I have well into 6 figures invested in my current stereo system, so I understand cables. I'm using these WBC cables for a separate stereo audio system with my Sony Bravia 9 TV... Sounds fantastic. Build quality and overall sound character of these speaker cables is very impressive for the price. I think these cables would work excellent for speakers up to $5k - $12K/pair range with mid level system components. A+

Love how these cables look in my system. It is dubious that speaker cables are going to make any difference in sound as long as they are the proper guage. This cable guage is insurance against any capacitance causing voltage drop. They are thick as a finger, flexible and complete a high end system.

Not a lot you can say about a speaker cable but it is very well made. My only critique is 2 of the banana plug terminals were not properly crimped so they would not go into my amp binding posts. I had to modify them slightly to get them to seat properly. Did not expect that from WBC especially on a stepped up tier of cable. Other than that, sleeving is amazing. Quite large and fairly heavy so you may want to strain relieve this cable to your speaker stand so it isn't pulling on your speakers binding posts with all that weight.

These speaker cables are very well constructed and look amazing! I am coming from Audioquest Type 4 cables and these just beat those without a doubt. The high frequencies are much smoother and more fine in texture. The bass is definitely more defined to my ears. Using these on a pair of Vienna Acoustics Baby Beethoven Reference and the detail improvement these cables provide is undeniable and apparent. I trust WBC for all my audio cable needs from here on out and hopefully they keep up with the great work they are doing for the cable industry. Highly recommended.

Product arrived in 2 days, being air shipped from Louisiana to Toronto. Packaging is impressive and cables look solid and well built. Item was tested by replacing a set of WBC Mogami speaker cables for the HF (High Frequency) input of a pair of Bi-amped Polk RTiA7 speakers. It did bring clearer and louder sound (by 2 - 3 db) to the tweeter and midrange. By shifting it to the LF (Low Frequency) woofers, the speakers produced higher and fuller punching sounds so that the pair of subwoofers could be turned off. Obviously, the 5 years old Marantz receiver has been choked and the 13 years old Polk speakers underfed, and both are now 'liberated' upon arrival of these cables. Yet, shall further experiment with the 7 AWG cable later for the woofers while keeping the set of 9 AWG for the tweeter.

Beautifully built but more important, wonderful sound quality. Highs are about the same but lows have more authority. But not rumblly. Very quick decay. I suppose the 9 guage disipates that bass frequencies stored energy. so they bang when they are supposed to and are dead silent when they are not! Great quality/value. These CAN NOT be beat for the price. If you want still greater performance, be prepared to pay 10x more.
