Holds sockets. Makes you want to buy more sockets to fill in any empty socket holder locations.

Works really well, magnet is very strong as well. Covers most common sizes found in a tool kit bit not all. No problem for me just use the empty slots

I looked at quite a few of these before purchasing. From the specs this seemed to deliver the most value for the price.I have a mix of sockets, primarily craftsman, that I populated these with. I very much appreciate having a spot for both short and long versions of each socket. Everything has fit so far. The text with each socket size is large and legible which makes grabbing the right one easy. When I was first removing them from the box, I stuck two of them together bottom to bottom. The magnet was extremely strong and it was difficult to remove. I was worried about misplacing it in my tool box if the magnets were that strong, but it turns out when connecting to the tool box, they are not difficult to pick up and replace. There's enough magnetization to keep them in place but it's not excessive. For a basic level of organization in my tool box I am very pleased.I do wish there were more color choices; my toolbox is orange so there's a bit of a color clash.

I started with the clip in socket rails but found them annoying to keep orderly and a little harder to take off than I wanted. The magnetic ones are pretty expensive but much easier to remove and put back, they hang on anything Metal, even upside down.Possible cons: the socket housings can collect dust or dirt If they're kept in an area that gets messy, not as compact as the clip on rails. Not as travel-compatible.Overall: if you can afford them (I could barely justify them to myself) treat yourself. They're pretty damn cool

These are a great alternative to some of the other socket holders that I’ve tried. I would buy again, I have the complete set of imperial and metric holders, they have a strong magnetic base

After reading other reviews before buying this product, I was skeptical about the strength of the magnets. I’m very happy with the strength of them as I have the socket holders stuck to the side of my cabinet. Been 3 weeks and no issues with sockets falling out

Works great, magnet holds down well in my cabinet and allowed me to organize all my sockets instead of just having a big drawer full of random sockets. Only problem is now I have to buy more sockets to fill the holes in my sets that I lost over the years.

I wasn't sure how good the quality would be but these are great. Not cheaply made. Holds the sockets well. Is very sturdy. Strong magnet. It has the socket sizes written on the holder so it makes finding the right socket super easy. I love this and will use it all the time. The only down side to this is that it doesn't have a place for 32nds and only has a few places for the half sizes in metric. Like 10.5 11.5 and so on. But on the other hand I usually never use those sockets anyway since most of the time you don't need them. Not really sure why I have them. But I do and this doesn't hold those. Otherwise it is fantastic and a great addition to my tools. I love that I can just grab it , go under the car, and have all my sockets perfectly arranged right where I am working on something. Should have bought these years ago. Another benefit is that is you are missing a socket you can see it right away and find it before it's gone forever. Or to know what to buy for the ones you don't have. Has a place for deep well and for the shorties. I dig it. Very nice.

These holders are plastic, nicely colored in solid tones (not faded or weird off-colors), the plastic has a nice feel to it (not exactly hard but not rubbery either), and the markings for socket sizes are distinct and easily legible. Holder height is appropriate - standard sockets stick out enough to grab them easily, deep sockets are down enough to not jiggle around or lean/fall. The base magnets probably help with that, too. On that topic, the base magnets are about perfect: strong enough to “thunk” when you place them on steel, weak enough to pull off or move without breaking your wrist. I was really pleased that they stay put even through the drawer liners and slamming drawers. Yeah, I tried it out. I also bought slightly cheaper units that look identical but proved to have weaker magnets and wish I hadn’t - these ones are definitely stronger, which just helps keep the sockets and the carrier where I want them. Two things I think could be better:The socket holes are bigger than the sockets by too much, in my opinion. I have all Craftsman brand sockets and there’s more space than I’d prefer around them. With the magnet base and the depth of the organizer they never rattle or fall or tilt, but I’d prefer the holes be a hair tighter. Perhaps other brands of sockets are larger. I haven’t tried putting impact sockets in…those might be thicker. The other thing is the 1/2” drive organizer (metric) has a spot for a drive adapter, and the 1/4” organizer has a spot for a 4.5mm socket. I’ve never seen a 4.5mm socket, so it’s a wasted empty space to me and I’d rather have a spot for an extension. In the 1/2” tray I’d rather have a spot for another socket. For that matter, I’d happily buy an organizer that goes up to 52mm in metric and up to 2.5” in SAE, if they offered them.I would, and certainly will, buy more of these ones. Others look very similar but the one I tried is weaker and slides when stuck on top of the drawer liner, so I prefer these.
