Everything in my backyard was growing out of control (I live pwn). This was sharp enough to clear everything from tree branches, to roses, to rosemary plants. It already covered it's cost with one use as far as Iim concernd. Works week, light weight and build really well

I ordered these to try as the old set of trimmers I have , have seen a lot of seasons of use and needing some TLC. These aren't bad trimmers but they don't feel as nice or solid as my old seasoned set feel. They are sharp and cut good but do take a bit extra force for some things that my old set can cut through in 1 cut. I think the this is due to the blades being a bit thinner vs my older set so there's not as much mass behind the cut. I'm not sure what the steel is in this set so I'm wondering what sharpening will be like once it needs it but I'll update this review when that time comes.Overall, they aren't a bad set of trimmers but they aren't as good as my 20+ year old set of hedge trimmers.
