Very handy to have around when welding. Having a single tool to use for several of the most common tasks is nice. I’m sure the more expensive brand name versions would be more durable for a professional who uses it all day every day. But for occasional use like I do these are more than enough and the price point is a great deal.

The WORKPRO 8" Welding Pliers are really tough, made from chrome vanadium steel so they won't wear out easily and won't rust. They cut through flux core wire like butter. You can use them to grab the contact tip or nozzle to take it off when it's hot, and you can even twist the nose inside the nozzle to scrape it clean.I took a milling file and smoothed out the sharp corners in just a couple of minutes. I've been using them for a few hours of welding and they're working great for me.
