Got this kit after I returned an off-brand 5-piece set that fit my new o2 sensor poorly. The original sensor was 20 years old and in tight quarters.Method: WD-40 2 days prior with cold exhaust; next day with warm exhaust. Let it cool down.Have 3/8 and 1/2 breaker bars and ratchets handy for your particular fit. Keep socket seated firmly on old sensor. Apply ample controlled leverage until she "pops" loose.

I recently used the O2 oxygen sensor socket set and it seriously made my job a lot easier. The set includes a bunch of sizes (1-1/16" 7/8" 27mm 22mm) that fit a range of oxygen sensors, and the 3/8" and 1/2" drive options are perfect for different types of jobs. Each socket is built from durable steel so you won’t have to worry about flexing. They fit snugly and grip well, preventing any slippage even on tough to remove sensors. I like the hinges on the case and the rear hinge on the case itself since they are pins and not all blow molded plastic that wears out. This set is definitely a solid investment for anyone who needs to deal with oxygen sensors.

A quality set of tools needed for servicing oxygen sensors and oil pressure sending units. Sockets included fit the most popular oxygen sensors and a thread chaser restores damaged threads. Also included is an oil pressure sending unit socket and a thermal switch socket. A quality tool set that makes difficult service work easier and faster.

My review of the WORKPRO 7PCS O2 Oxygen Sensor Socket, Automotive 3/8" 1/2" Drive x 1-1/16" 7/8" 27mm 22mm O2 Sensor Socket Removal Tool Wrench and Thread Chaser Set, for Oil Pressure Vacuum Thermal Oxygen SensorsThis is a great assortment of O2 sensor removal sockets. Oxygen sensors are always hard to remove. The constant cycle of high temperatures and then cooling down combined with normal rust and corrosion makes it a difficult job. Add that to the hard to reach locations and it just gets harder. These sockets are solid and heavy duty. They are thick walled and should be up to the task of removing stuck sensors. Adding in the thread chasers is a nice extra and they will come in handy for many situations. I would recommend this kit/
