About Coolant Pipe
A coolant pipe is a hard plastic line used to transport coolant between cooling system components. It is usually attached on both ends by coolant hoses, and the coolant pipe can, in some cases, act as a junction to split coolant to other parts. Often, a coolant pipe may be connected between the radiator and water pump, or between the water pump and the heater core. Over time, the plastic and rubber can degrade and crack, causing coolant leaks. If you notice a coolant leak, you may be able to trace it back to the leaking component. A cooling system works by sending a liquid coolant through passages in the engine block and heads. As the coolant flows through these water pump-cooling pipe, it picks up heat from the engine, coolant hose carries the coolant through the engine at an optimal temperature, cool the engine.
What are the Symptoms of A Broken Water Pump-Cooling Pipe?
When the Water Pump-Cooling Pipe fails completely, it will not be able to circulate coolant through the engine block. This results in an overheating situation and if not repaired or replaced quickly, can cause additional engine damage like cracked cylinder heads, pushed head gaskets, or burnt pistons.
If you find a coolant leak in the front center of the car; the engine is overheated; the water pump-cooling pipe may be damaged, you should replace it in time to prevent further damage to your car engine.

The two pieces can be separated if only bottom water hose needs to be replaced. If top air pipe needs to be replaced as well, then better to buy the part with extension as there is a clip that cannot be removed unless cut
