We put her bully sticks in it, so when she chews the stick down to close to the end she doesn't get the end caught in her throat. It holds the stick in there very tightly. Lets her chew her bully sticks safely. Best investment ever!!!

This product has some weight to it. Immediately noticeable when you pick it up. It's too heavy for my Chihuahua mix to move it around much. He can't really hold it in his mouth due to the size/thickness and weight. Love the idea to prevent choking. It is strong.

This product is awesome for our 6 mo old pug puppy. It can be used with different chews, not only bully sticks! I was impressed by the strength of the grip, as he likes to try to bite and pull on the chew. When you screw the light green part back in to hold the chew in place, it is very secure & strong!! Some had said it's on the heavier side, but it's not too heavy for our young puppy to carry around, no issue there.It is easy to use and seems easy to clean! I appreciate the design and how it is *not* destructible...no pieces for him to get into! It's worth the money!! :)

This is a great way to protect my puppy from ingesting the last inch or so of the bully sticks she so dearly loves. She was afraid of it at first but then figured out that this thing actually holds the bully stick for her, so she doesn't have to!One thing to be aware of - when the nub of the stick gets too small for the dog to access, she will chew on the device itself, and ours got all scratched up, with sharp edges. We used a belt sander to make it smooth again and will be sure to take it away when the nub gets small from now on.

This product is amazing! Our greyhound would easily down a bully stick in a few minutes, often swallowing pieces that were bigger than we'd like. This holder slows him down by not allowing him to place 1/4 of the bully stick in his mouth, and not swallow large chunks. He now take 20-30min for one stick, and is completely worn out by the end!The holder is very sturdy and will not break as he chews on it accidentally. It holds onto the sticks very tightly and is adjustable by twisting the bottom part. It is heavy so he drops it when he's moving it around sometimes. Overall, great purchase!

I really like this. I have the peace of mind that my dog isn’t going choke on the bully stick while I’m not paying attention.She doesn’t like the clamp a whole lot since it’s pretty heavy so I usually wait till the stick is around the almost too short length and then I’ll stick it in device. It works out way better doing it like this. When all that’s left is the half an inch of stick that’s inside the clamp I’ll just pop it out and give it to her.Really easy to clean and I like not having to touch nasty gross soggy bully sticks. It’s also easy to secure the stick inside, doesn’t take a whole lot of pressure. She hasn’t managed to get the stick out of it yet.I’d say the only downside is that it gets pretty chewed up while she’s eating with it. It’s not bad now but I predict in a couple more weeks I’ll need to start using a towel to open and close it cause the plastic bite marks are sharp and hurt to grip while twisting. It also makes it slightly harder to fit the stick inside woth the teeth marks but I’ve had luck just cutting any sharper pieces off that block the hole.

Wow! My English Labrador can get a bully stick out of other holders and swallow the end before you can catch her doing it. I thought this one showed promise and I was right. She could not get it out and was satisfied chewing it down as far as she could. I think it will save me a little money on bully sticks over time because it will take her longer to chew and have less wasted bully stick (1" compared to 3"). It also will be safer for her because she won't be swallowing 3" to 4" ends. It was also so easy to load and unload the bully stick into this holder. The other rubber holders hurt my hands trying to load the sticks. I am buying a second holder after I finish this review.Update 11/28/2024: I continue to love these Bully Stick Holders! Look how little of the bully stick is wasted by the dogs now (two English Labradors)! So great that I have given away my previous rubber bully sticks holders as these work best for my pups! This bully stick holder works with different thickness of bully sticks very well, just make sure you turn it as tight as it will go to hold the bully stick securely. Also, I always monitor my ladies when they have their bully sticks and I set a time limit for chewing (15 mins) when they are using these. Highly recommended! Buy them for your dog!
