bought this for my ex-wife, hoping it would collapse and...you know... but it's really let me down. seems it's too well-constructed and durable for my plans, so she still just sits outside and swings, a full year later, and i'm just hoping one day it will rust or something. just kidding. it was not the easiest thing to put together, but i did do it by myself. with two people, it should be a breeze. it's light enough to move easily but sturdy enough for my ex and two kids to enjoy. i will say that i put a 5' swing in there, and it BARELY fits, but overall, very happy with it.

I cannot give a review for the stand without talking about my swing too. I love the way the stand looks in my yard. It seems to be well made.It wasn't hard to put together. Two people would be easier. When I sit in my swing, It has a smooth movement. The stand is capped off on the bottom and can be put on the grass.The hardware was complete. The only trouble I had was that my kitten stole a screw and I had a heck of a time finding it.Overall I love my stand and swing. It makes me very happy.

The materials seem to be very high quality, all pieces accounted for and fit together perfectly. Box was still intact, no damage anywhere from shipping. It would probably take a man about 15 minutes, as I clumsily struggle with hand tools it took me more like 30 minutes. Anxious to get the slat swing from the same company (that's not quite finished) hung in it, will post a photo when I do.

We purchased this frame to use with our Valencia Steel-Frame Resin Wicker Loveseat Swing and Heavy Duty Barrel Shaped Swing-mate® Comfort Springs. Due to the small size of our porch, we couldn't fit a 3-person swing, but this frame and a 2-seat swing are perfect. The frame is a bit small, so we had to do some creative removal of the top swing chains, and just used these springs to connect the frame to the O-ring that branches the chains to the swing itself. It's a great frame and easy to set up. Wish the bolts were of a smaller socket set, it is larger than 1/2 socket, which is the largest we own. We had to use a wrench to put it together, not any tools provided. Looks great when assembled.

I bought this unit for my parents who had a swing but nowhere to hang it. We looked around in several local stores but could not find anything satisfactory unless we were willing to spend a large sum. It arrived quickly and was easy enough to assemble that my 83 year old dad put it together by himself.The metal is sturdier than I anticipated based on the price. The finish seems very durable and it stays in position while being used by two adults. All in all I think this was a great buy.

I searched for a long time trying to decide on the best porch swing frame. I needed one for the swing I bought my parents for their second home. Unfortunately, I asked them where they wanted the swing to go and they decided to put the porch on the deck.After considering building a frame into the deck, buying a wood frame, etc... I went with the bronze Jack post frame. It is perfect. It does not take up a lot of space and is still sturdy. The frame is low to the ground which would be a problem if you are tall and want the swing to be higher off of the ground. Also, because of the low stance of the swing, you will not be able to swing high and far. These are issues are not problems for where and how the swing is being used.The delivery was as promised and even though the box was damaged, the frame was fine. It was easy to assemble. The finish has no noted defects. The color goes very well with the deck and the logs of the home. Of note, this was the least expensive frame option that I researched and yet it was most probably the best choice.I would buy this product again.

I checked the reviews on amazon and was impressed by this product, so I ordered this swing frame. Shipping was done promptly, and I received the package in a couple of days. However, the box was badly damaged with all corners torn. It could have just as well been outside in rain- that is how flimsy the paper box was. When we opened it, we saw that there were missing parts: There are supposed to be four legs, but there were only three; there were no hardware (screws, nuts and bolts to assemble the frame) and there were supposed to be two support bars of which there was only one. There were no packing materials in the box- it seemed like all the metal pieces that were available were just thrown into the box with no padding whatsoever. Amazon was very good with helping us return the shipment at no cost to us. They asked if we would like a refund or if we would like to place a new order for the same product. When we asked if amazon would guarantee that the packing is properly done and that the parts are intact and complete in the box, amazon said that they cannot provide such a guarantee as they receive the shipment from a different seller. Therefore, we opted to get the refund. We were very eager to get this product as it is exactly what we want, but unfortunately, this experience has made us wary of placing a new order with this seller.
