Woodhaven Family of Baseplates
The Woodhaven offset router baseplate includes a large handle for better freehand control and safety. Features a large 2" bit hole.
7mm (1/4") thick white phenolic plate is 4-1/4" wide x 7-3/4" long, Our Phenolic plate is more durable than the acrylic plates others sell.
Look at the Woodhaven 8320-8390 family of router baseplates if you need a guide bushing.
Or look at the Woodhaven 8321-8391 family of router baseplates if you need a larger bit opening.

A good fit for my Makita trim router. Easy to see through when attached. I keep the knob and nut in a small bag so it takes up less space in my router box.

This makes this small router more stable and easier to use. I found much better control which provided a better end result. The item is well made and came with everything required to install.

The holes will only line up one way, backwards of the way you would want it too. You could flip it over and recess the holes for the screw heads on the other side, it still would be off a bit but would be useable. The 2” center hole is way too big for this compact router. Company charges $10 return fee! Do yourself a favor, buy a blank plate and make your own for half the price and less hassle.

The holes of this base did not align with my Milwaukee router as stated. One hole was off. Fortunately I was able to drill a hole and make it work. Otherwise this is a nice base for improved stability.

Good Base better than the small base that came with my Hand held Router. I had to round off 20 foot + of board and this smooth wide base made the job easer. It was outside on stairs.

I like the size of the device. It fits perfectly on my Makita trim router. The handle makes it easy to hold and maneuver the router across the work space.

I needed to route a slot around a large piece (arcade machine) that was free-standing and I couldn’t lay it down. So it was an awkward, overhead position and freehand. I didn’t feel like I could do it without possibly damaging the piece, which I already had dozens of hours into. So I bought this. I’m so happy I did. It lets you overhang an edge and put pressure on the long arm to stabilize the router. The piece is quality and simple. Sure, you could probably make one. But it is built perfectly and is an affordable product. Save yourself the headache and get this router base accessory! Would totally reccomend!
