My daughter and son in law just built a new house and the sinks are the type the sit in top of the counters. Their existing stools are not high enough for the kids to reach to wash their hands. I read reviews on a number of stools and this seemed like a good height, and it had multiple steps, but just one large step up, so I decided to give it a try. It came disassembled, but the 4 year old put it together by himself, with me only laying out the boards and handing him the correct screws. Allenwrench included. It's the perfect height for the higher sinks and it's very sturdy. (Not ideal... but) the 2 and 4 year old end up sharing it often because when anyone brushes their teeth the 2 year old HAS to be involved! They both fit on it safely without issue. Nice neutral wood color and smooth finish that is easy to wipe clean. It is made of actual wood, not pressed board or composite.

This stool is sturdy, light weight and easy to put together. My toddler takes it from bathroom to kitchen to where ever she needs a step up. You can add decals to personalize and they stay with no issues. Glad I made this purchase.
