I actually ordered this to use as a face scrubbing brush for myself. It's a bit soft compared to what I'm used to though. It also comes with a silicone scrubber.

Adorable set, perfect for dry-brushing sensitive infant skin, as well as for clearing flakes, dandruff, and scabs out of fine baby hair. The brush itself is SUPER soft, made of natural wood and cashmere (goat hair), but densely packed enough to help brush away light dandruff and other flakes. The silicone scrubber, though tiny, is actually a very effective exfoliation tool. Both have handles that make gripping them securely pretty easy, even with larger than normal American hands. The brush hangs up for clean and protected storage. The pair come in a nice box that's totally giftable without need for wrapping, and I think most mothers of wee ones will be glad to have such a useful gift. Not just another shelf-sitting dust collector! This is a functional, as well as adorable, gift.

This is a review of Wooden Soft Goat Bristles Brush with Baby Silicone Hair Scrubber Cradle Cap Brush for Newborn, Toddler, Infant (Pink)—From WXA store This set contains one wooden brush and one flat silicone cradle cap scrub brush. The small wooden brush has a smoothly finished handle; the wooden part is about 1.34” wide by 6” long. The .75” long bristles are soft (they must come from special goats since I’ve only seen basic goats with very short hair). I treated the bristles roughly on purpose to test them, and none fell out. I like that there is a hole at the end of the handle so I can hang up the brush. There is a nice enough rope threaded through the hole, but I actually changed out the rope for a pink ribbon to go with the girly theme. The cradle cap brush is soft enough if you don’t press down hard; if you need more scrubbing action, just press a bit harder. The brushes come in a better-than-usual cardboard box. This is a nice set.

This brush set is so sweet. I wish I would have bought it sooner.The bristles are so soft. My little one is just over a year and has fine hair, these do well for the everyday taming of her hair.I love that it comes with a scalp massager. It doe help break up the scales from cradle cap. I’ve used it a few times to get the scales out of her hair.These feel sturdy and fit well in your hand. The wood is rounded and not heavy so if little one wants to brush their hair, you can feel ok with them handling it.Lastly they have a rope tie at the end for easy hanging. Oh and the scale massager has finger holds to help you hold it while using it.

This product is packaged so cutely in a floral gift box! Great for a gift for a newborn baby or to add to a baby registry. The brush is so soft, softer than it looks. It's a great price and it also comes with a silicone scrubber for cradle cap. I accidentally ordered the one with the pink scrubber but have a baby boy. I use it during his baths with a little bit of newborn soap to prevent cradle cap. My three year old daughter loves using it to help brush his hair.

A new mom might not know/think to put this on their baby registry, and this truly is a nice and useful gift.It is packaged in a nice box, and the little scrubber is useful if baby has cradle cap (which our little one DID have cradle cap for nearly the first 12 months of life)I got this set for baby # 2 on the way - as it is not good to share/exchange brushes and combs.Note: we did put oil on baby's cradle cap for several consecutive nights finally to help soften the cradle cap yet had to do daytime bath if wanting to take photos, or baby would look like she had dirty greasy hair. The tiny scrub brush came in handy for gently massaging that area. We did not focus much on the cradle cap when little as skull was developing, and wanted to wait to see how much effort was needed to address it.Personally, I always thought these types of brushes were worthless, as they are too soft to even catch the hair to move it to "style" the hair. Baby has long hair (bangs) that hangs into her eyes. Born with long tendrils in the front of her head. But the brush is more for stimulation, massaging, and gentle relaxation.Another side note: have a family member with Autism, and one of the "sensory integration" or calming methods was to use a similar type of brush to gently brush their arms, legs, etc. (that was 30 years ago). (called "sensory brushing")This brush might have more uses than you initially thought!
