Do not buy if you have pets that like to chew on the wood or jump around a lot. I have two chinchillas that always chew on everything. They jump around a lot also. The nails that are exposed after chewing the wood cut their feet. The cooling pad is also not safe. It is mostly glass.

its good quality wood but i wouldn't use the 'cooling' thing i'm nervous that my chin would chew or potentially swallow the pieces. instead of that just get a slab of granite you can find it anywhere honestly. The ledges were kind of hard to get onto the cage and they're not sturdy if I'm being honest you really got to tighten it even doing that it doesn't wanna stay. I'm still gonna use them but its not worth the price.
