I use it to shield the light from the sun while a passenger in a car. It also, as it was made for, works great as a fan to cool me off. Shields me from view of others as a joke. It is very well made and a joy to have!

This is the worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon. Worse than the cheapest dollar store item; it's complete garbage. It is so flimsy that it cannot close without manually refolding it. The handle is flimsy like balsa wood rough and has fine splinters sticking off of it, which will certainly get stuck in fingers, ugh. Awful, just awful. It's hard to believe anyone would actually produce and sell this with a straight face. Do not buy!

This fan broke the second day my daughter had it. The wood had splinters all over it and it was poorly made. We threw it away.
