We have 3 of these fans on our large wood stove. They really work well to disperse warm air into our family room and surrounding rooms. Very quiet and reliable

I've had one of these that I broke. This time I bought 2. They work great. Attached to my heater, my hunting blind stays comfortable. With the quiet, yet powerful functions I can be warmer and have plenty of distance from the heater.

What a great idea, a fan that runs on a Peltier device. While not a torrent of air, it moves enough to make my Buddy heater works better. I would give it five stars, except the bracket is very goofy and difficult to work with. But if you futz with it, you can make it all work.

The fan has been working great then just stopped. Operating heat range was optimum. No bends in the blades, they move smoothly. The wires appear secure.The replacement came today, just in time for a cold winter night! Turned the heater on the fan sits still in its optimum temp range.Great idea if it were functional!

Like one of the other reviewers pointed out the mounting directions are incorrect for the big buddy heater. If you put it on the second rung it gets way too hot, the thermometer they included read at around 800F and the bimetallic saftey strip on the bottom of the fan was poking out. You have to mount it to the top rung, but then it doesn't hold the fan quite as well.It works well and helps spread the warmth around better. It's basically silent. The fan blades are pretty flimsy though and are easy to bend, so be careful with those if you have to move it around.If I were to purchase one again I would buy one with the flat metal tray for a stand rather than the clip on situation this kit comes with as I believe those would be more stable when paired with the big buddy heater.

Update : directions are incorrect, for the heater it shows . use the top bar and will only sit on one side and will sit loose so be carful when using. still worth the money. I have not hooked up propane yet as need to buy again elsewhere. I bought 4 16 ounce tanks and 2 empty and 2 barely any propane, and not sure if a leak caused it but I am taking to the dump and pay to dump it . I will not risk my life with propane leakage. I am upsetWhen I discover there were non electric fans for wood stoves and Mr Big heaters I bought one and love it , so bough this one and it is awesome. I also wanted to see if it would work on my base board heaters that don't circulate the heat, so after careful thought. I set the Fan on its back and set it against my base board heater (in a safe way) and it worked so well I feel much more heat. so, in the future I am going to buy more for base board heaters in the rest of my home. I also have 5 electric quarts fireplace heaters, and they have fans Thet help circulation, . I set one in front of the heater, and it worked with a fast spin and can really feel more heat circulating in the entire area I am heating.
