Love this small wooden riser. It's unobtrusive & a nice timber grain & stain. I keep it by the cooktop & have my Mason Oil bottles sitting on it to minimise any oil stains on my stone benchtop. Vety happy with this buy.

Just as described, smooth finish. I was afraid it would look very cheap and rough, but it doesn't. it's small and raises items just enough to highlight and unify them. I bought it for a few little decorative spice houses for my kitchen counter. The one I received is a very dark wood finish. It's surprising how adding an additional item such as a tray or this stand can make other items appear less, rather than more, cluttered, but it works. Not sure how water resistant it would be for some uses as I haven't tried that. I'm pleased with this purchase.

It looks nice from the distance, however this wooden tray is extremely lightweight, its parts are glued and it's very noticeable. For this price i hoped that it would be a good quality heavy solid wood tray but it feels cheap. Looks like it's made from some sort of cheapest wood such a pine. Disappointed
