I would say it fell apart, but it would have had to have come together first for that to happen. This thing is made out of the softest particle board I have ever seen. It's like trying to put a screw into a box of tissues, but without the box. A lot of Amazon stuff is hit and miss, but they should discontinue selling this thing immediately.

This lectern isn't the easiest to assemble, thanks to quite poor assembly instructions. It's typical pressboard material, and the assembly itself goes well once you figure out what pieces go where! Fit and finish aren't great, but from a few feet away, it looks quite good. I'm going to use it in my new music building, and it will do the job adequately. The black finish goes with anything, so that's a plus, as well. It's a shame they didn't include some black stickers to cover up the big assembly locking screws (see photo). The lectern did NOT come with casters, either, which is a BIG minus. I added some, which can be seen in the photo.

This wooden lectern stand has been a great addition to our church. The craftsmanship is beautiful, with a rich wood finish that adds a touch of elegance to our space. It’s both sturdy and portable, making it easy to move around as needed, which is perfect for our multi-purpose use.The size is ideal for holding notes, a Bible, or a laptop, and the slanted top provides a comfortable reading angle. It’s also lightweight enough to be easily transported, yet stable enough that it doesn’t wobble during use. The attention to detail in the design is evident, and it really enhances the overall look of our sanctuary.However, there are a couple of minor things to consider. The assembly was a bit more time-consuming than I expected, with a few tricky parts that required some patience to get just right. Also, while the stand is sturdy, it’s not quite as robust as some more expensive options, so I’d recommend being a bit careful when moving it frequently to avoid any wear and tear.Overall, this lectern stand offers great value for the price. It’s a beautiful and functional piece that serves its purpose well, and I’m very pleased with how it looks and performs. A solid choice for anyone in need of a portable pulpit

product came with instructions on how to put it together in Chinese. not even a pictoral illustration that you could follow.

The directions are written in Chinese, I guess. Definitely not English!! The pictures are terrible as well. It took a while to get together. The podium seemed to be a pretty good product. Time will tell how well it holds up.
