I just spent all day and a lot of money at the kitty hospital because this collar got stuck under his jaw. When we were able to finally safely get a hold of him he was covered in blood and the collar was extremely tight and would not break for anything. I finally was able to cut it off and get him to the vet. He had to have stitches on his tongue where he got his nail in and pulled because he was trying to get the collar off. I immediately removed the collars from my other cat and my dog.

The peppermint scent is strong at first but mellows out after a week or so. It is a plant based product so safety was a concern. It repels fleas and my pets scratch considerably less. I am very satisfied as I bought collars for my cats and dogs. I have no complaints about the performance of these collars thus far.

This should say it all...because my cat hates collars. The quality is great. There are no rough edges. It fits comfortably on her. She's not trying to take it off. She hasn't been scratching so I feel like it's killing the fleas. I love that it's made with essential oils, so I know it's safer than the harsh chemicals. Bonus is that it looks great on her. We call it her jewelry.

This does NOT work for Ticks. I just went through a stressful evening of removing an embedded tick in my baby girl, 2 year old dog outer jaw area and she has a bad infection from the tick. The collar is only like a week, possibly two weeks old and this was her third tick already. I hate giving a bad review but we love our beautiful pets and want the best for them.

I will say it does take a little bit to kick in, but once it does, it really works! I've bought these for all my cats, I like the smell, and the color. I did have a really bad flea problem in the house until I bought these. I will keep buying this product!!

This was recommended to me by a relative. I certainly like the idea of non chemical products but this one did not repel the fleas on either cat. It should be noted my cats are outside most of the day so perhaps it would work well for an indoor only cat who may only come in limited contact with fleas

I live in populated mosquito area. Kitty tolerates the collar well enough without irritation to the skin. I like that it is organic herbals instead of chemicals. But the mosquito repellant seemed to wear off after only a couple weeks and poor kitty's nose, face, and ears are attacked. She loves to go outside during the day. Could be flies as well, though. I didn't buy it for the flea repellant, but happy it has that feature, though I use the dip on her normally. I did order a second collar due in shortly, as the price was reduced, but I will not be continuing with this brand as the price seems high for a product that only lasts two weeks (for which it was advertised to last a month). I wish someone would come out with a lasting product similar to this against mosquitoes for cats like the longer lasting flea products. She cannot tolerate the herbal spray I ordered previously, and the mosquitoes will be around for a few more months regardless of this heatwave.
