The shawl is comfortable and not too weighty. The neutral color and style versatility is very impressive.

Love the color and the over the shoulder option.

I was pleasantly surprised by how thick the material for this wrap is! It’s like a double-knit material, which is perfect for New England in the winter! The color is beautiful, and the fabric is soft.I did have trouble figuring out how to wear it, but there are plenty of ideas on Pinterest for styling a wrap that were super helpful! This is a nice alternative to a fleece jacket or cardigan if you want something a little dressier, but still need the layer for warmth. It would be a good outer layer for spring or fall too if you didn’t want a jacket, but needed something for cooler weather.

I recently received this "Womens Open Front Poncho Sweater Wrap Topper Knitted Elegant Shawls Cape for Spring Fall Winter" for my mother who is visiting and who is perpetually chilly. This wrap was confusing as all get-out to me, but the closest experience I've ever had to wearing a "wrap" is that time I convinced my parents to buy me a "poncho" after stopping at "South of the Border" while heading south on I-95 during a summer vacation years and years ago! Fortunately, my mom was able to figure it out pretty quickly - but that didn't stop her from mocking my confusion! XDThe material is very soft and stretchy. I said "oooh, it's squishy" when I felt it. Apparently "squishy" is a common descriptor for "acrylic" according to my mom. I know nothing of such things, but since the material is viscose (bamboo), polyester, and "polyamide," I'm thinking "acrylic" doesn't sound too far off. (In my head I hear "acrylic" in reference to fabric and my brain just goes, "Ah, this material is synthetic.")My mom seems to like the shawl just fine and says it's not overly warm but does take the edge off the chill. She's a petite woman and there's a lot of draping with this fabric on her 5'2" frame, but it looks nice and gives her a little bit more coziness, and now she can wear it around the house without being all wrapped up in a blanket. As I type this review, this wrap is priced at $35.99 but has a 28% discount available, which lowers its price to only $25.99. As fashionable anti-chill-wear goes, I think this is a nice piece. It's plenty casual enough to wear around the house but dressy enough to make for a nice accessory when it's cold enough out to warrant wearing a jacket. Over all, no complaints here and happy to recommend!

NOT Red! per my order, more of a burgundy red color. Cute so I will keep it.

I have had a number of shawls over the years. Many of them are similar to this one in not having a hem but more thread wrapped edge. I don’t think that this type of edge cheapens the look, it just makes it more uniform and consistent. I absolutely love the loop on the shoulder to tuck one end into to secure the shawl around you. The weight of the fabric is nice and will give that extra needed warmth in the spring and fall. I went with the dark slate blue as I look at it as a basic color that will go with many outfits.

Not satisfied with the fit. The material is not supposed to wrinkle but it does.

Photos don’t do this justice. Ignore the wrinkles from the compressed packing as they fell out quickly. This is a nice sweater weight wrap and it’s so versatile. You can wear it as a wrap for a more casual look or use the loop for a dressier look. I love the color and the entire look of this item. Perfect for throwing on instead of a coat when the temperatures are milder.
