My daughter loves this style of short, as it almost looks like a skirt and they're super airy. She's 8, about 54lbs and I got her an XS and they fit great. She says they are super comfy and from what I can tell they don't bunch anywhere. I would definitely get her more colors if available.

These are very comfortable, they fit exactly as you expect them to. They fit great, and the material is very nice. You can wear flowing shorts without any risk of "displaying" anything you don't want to, they keep everything protected and comfortable. They are also very cool on a hot day as they breathe quite well, my wife is super happy with these, she uses them for volley ball where normally people have pretty reveling shorts, but she gets to feel comfy and covered at the same time with these.
