There is not a lot of support, but besides that it worked well. My husband wore this for Halloween and with the ties in front and back we were able to size it to fit perfectly. I would say, on a women, this would be extremely flattering because of the way it sits perfectly around the girls. As you can see, I’m smaller than him, but I could still take it in enough to make it fit me. Very versatile.

This vest is a really nice costume piece. I’m only rating it down a star because it doesn’t fit me really well as a chesty woman (I’m a D). I have to pull the strings really tight to make it fit around my waist, but then it tends to ride up and curl a bit. Overall, I like the way it looks, it adds to a Renaissance costume I have for the time being, and looks decent, but I think I’ll be looking for a better-fitting vest for a more permanent addition to a costume.

I got this for Halloween and it looks great itself but the fit is a little so so. It’s a decently made item with nice enough fabric, doesn’t have as many holes as the ad shows, I noticed. As for fit I’d buy your normal size, don’t go by the chart. The vest needs some structure as the fabric is fairly soft and thin. For a fitted corset the fabric isn’t thick or stiff enough imo, needs a good lining or something else. So while it looks nice and is pretty fabric if you’re looking for something with structure at all I’d look elsewhere.

This vest is really nice. It has lacing on both the front and the back to help with sizing. The sueded feel is soft. This definitely has a pirate or Renaissance look to it. I plan to wear it with costumes and in my normal day to day life.

The vest bodice is not stiff or made of leather; instead, it's quite soft and fits true to size, although it does tend to bunch up slightly at the bottom. I wish it were a bit longer. It is made out of polyester, so. But for the price, it's a good deal for Halloween or Ren Fest.

This is a really nice vest, and the material is soft and suede-like on the outside. The ties are fairly easy to use, though the bottom gets really tight and bunches up no matter what I do. It fits nicely, though be advised that the front only comes to halfway up your chest. Overall, I'm very pleased with this and have already had fun pairing it with outfits!
