Easy and easy to change. I followed a Youtube video. Depressurize the system is important before attempting to change the filter. Wear safety glasses because of leaking fuel and dirt.

I bought this filter for a 2001 Ford Ranger 3.0L. The filter that this replaced was much smaller in diameter. Luckily, the fittings were the same size, so I made due with a quick cut of the plastic that holds the filter to the frame, and I zip tied it into place. It works, it just wasn't as easy as it should have been. Three stars to Amazon and Wix for saying that this was a fit for my truck.

It fit and functioned well enough. The one I got was made in China which stinks. Also, the packing was terrible, which is why I'm docking it a little. It was outside of it's own packaging and rolling around in the box, which nocked the inlet cap off of the filter. I hope nothing got in side the filter. Lastly just as a heads up, there are two different filters offered for the Ford 2.3L Rangers, one larger in diameter and one smalled but otherwise basically the same. Make sure you double check which one is on your truck.

It did not fit my 2002 Ford Ranger. By the time I went to install it, it was to late to return it.
