I replaced this on my 1955 Ford 272 Y-Block. This filter was slightly smaller in diameter than the one I removed and about 1/4" too tall to fit the housing. I had to cut 1/4" off one end and managed to get it to fit. Fortunately, it's only a vent filter and not under pressure, so it still functions appropriately. Parts for older cars are getting harder to find. I'm just glad that WIX still makes filters that are a least usable.Bonus - it comes with the correct gasket for the housing!
