Installed on a 2004 jeep grand cherokee 4.0 just after purchasing noticed it had a long crank to start online review pointed to this filter after reading about how many people had lots of problems with low quality filter it was suggested by many to buy this brand filter installation was pretty easy and now starts fast do yourself a favor and buy this Wix filter its worth the extra money for less problems down the road

Kinda hard to tell if it is filtering or not...but the old one was squealing and this one doesn't so its a win in my book! haha. 2004 Jeep wJ 4.7l

This does fit the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee v8 vin N. Amazons check to fit said it's not compatible but it is. Back to the product, I recently bought a new fuel pump and filter and was having problems with my jeep having problems starting. I thought it was the pump but it was the filter/regulator. I replaced it with this and have had no problems. It starts like it should and the noise I thought was the pump turned out to be the eco filter that I had previously installed . Worth the money.

Wix filters are very well made I've been using them for many years and they have a very simple quick connect. Installation is a breeze just pop out the quick connects and plug in the new filter and you're ready to go.

I used to use autozone store brand filters for my 2002 Grand Cherokee Overland. I always just thought wjs had noisy fuel pumps. I was wrong. I’m on my 2nd wix filter and no longer have any fuel pump whine. I’ve also not had one of these die on me unlike the autozone ones which had left me stranded while towing a boat. Ill use these from here on out.

A common issue with WJ fuel filters is a whine after install. It's the built-in fuel regulator that causes it (also why this costs more than filters for some cars) Mine has been quiet since I installed it a month ago. I will buy again next time I need a new one.

The old filter came off easy enough - the new one was a perfect fit.The slight 'miss' at idle I've been trying and failing to sort out for the last year has totally gone.I've gained a few MPG - and the throttle seems a bit livelier also. My daily highway drive has gone from 15ish to 20ish on the EVIC - time will tell - my average over the last 4 months was 13.5 for mixed city/highway
