This backpack checks all my boxes. It's very roomy without being overly bulky; just right for a rucksack-style pack. It is well designed and engineered, with many thoughtfully placed, smartly organized pockets. The build quality and durability (my biggest concerns before buying) have been great so far. I've been able to carry pretty heavy items and when lifting the pack by one strap (with normal care) there is no indication of potential tearing, which speaks to quality materials and construction. And it looks great. It's also quite comfortable to wear. It fit me perfectly right out of the box without any need to adjust the straps. I consider it a good value and would definitely recommend.

This thing came out of the bag ready to roll. You can hold quite a bit 2 to 3 days worth of stuff depending on how you pack very well-made has no wheels so you can easily put it in the overhead which is a plus if you travel a lot normally if you have wheels they make you check it in. You don’t have to check this luggage in. It’s worth the money.

Initial reaction is simply HELL yes! I’m a picky person and was hesitant to buy a new BP but this one seems great! Can’t speak for durability yet but there are so many pockets and it so versatile I have zero complaints. The material is nice and doesn’t feel cheap. The zippers are wee made and the stitching looks good as well. I’m heading to Japan and Korea in 2 months and this is going to make my trip awesome!!!!

This is a solid carry on suitcase. It is a well thought out design that allows you to keep different types items segmented and protected. It is smaller in each dimension that guarantees that it will meet the size requirements for the TSA and individual airlines. If you pack well and find your case heavy, it converts to a backpack.

I have had a number of different backpacks for travel and this is the one I like the most. It is sturdy, well made, and has plenty of pockets and storage space. It also fits under the seat on an airplane. The reason I gave this a 4 star and not a 5 star is because the charging feature does not work. No matter what cable I use or what type of power bank, I get a low charging message. The idea is great, it just does not function properly. Otherwise, this is the perfect travel backpack.

If you travel for a 1-2 day meeting, it’s perfect! It’s perfect for just about anything. SOOO many pockets and zippers, plus you can carry it like a backpack, or zip that end up and carry it over your shoulder, or carry it like a briefcase.Do yourself a favor and buy this backpack. It’s super sturdy, everything is easily packed and accessible and the best part of it all? It’s a carry on, even though it carries A LOT more than a carrier on suitcase.It’s also very well made…water resistant…and durable.You can easily carry a laptop in it and you can use the other space for a smaller tablet or simply allow it to provide even more protection of your laptop.I have gone through MANY backpacks in my 56 years and this one is even better than my best hunting backpack, only smaller.Spend the extra $ and you will be a very satisfied customer. I wasted a lot of money on the $35-$40 backpacks…even one that cost more than this…but this is the best, bar none. I tried to think of at least 1 “con” and I can’t find one.BTW - you will LOVE the area to place an extra pair of shoes.

I got this to replace a Samsonite backpack I had used for 10+ years. This one has many more pockets that I'm finding very useful. The zippers are great quality. The straps are excellent, I had no problem lugging around 10lb. I was a bit wary of spending as much as I did on this but since I don't replace my backpacks very often, I thought I would give this highly rated one a go.. no regrets at all! I use this often enough that the high quality matters a lot.

I recently returned from a family train trip around Italy. The backpack is very comfortable, durable, lightweight and has lots of pockets for your stuff. It fits nicely in the airplane overhead, as well as most of the trains we were on in Italy. My only suggestion is, buy some small locks to to secure the compartments if you are worried about someone going through it on a plane or train (I only needed two).
