I bought these to replace a comparable item, which we loved for keeping mittens from getting lost. This one seems very durable with a heavier duty clip, and elastic that’s long enough to use for multiple functions. At first use, I’m happy with the purchase.

Used to clip my gloves to my jacket for a trip. Made it so much easier going in and out of places and not loosing them. Only mild mishap was accidentally slapping people with them.

I brought these for my grandson to help with keeping up with his gloves. The quality and price was good. They're easy to clap to any coat and will remain snug without the worry of unclamping and falling off.

We really wanted to love these clips, unfortunately for small children they are quite long so that once the clips are attached the gloves become a trip hazard when not worn and left dangling outside the coat. My little one complained that the clip was scratchy and cold too, but I think that is something kids would get used to. For example, The metal would heat up against your skin.

My disabled cat wears diapers - her spinal/hip congenital defect prevents her hind legs from being pulled under her torso, and she drags them behind her. I change the diapers 4-6 times a day. To prevent friction from breaking down the skin on her thighs, I have sewn a piece of fabric to the top of the diaper, so it hangs down and comes between her legs and the floor. I use a mitten clip to connect the two edges of the flap, in order to keep it positioned properly. The clips's elastic is exactly the length needed to do this. After a few months, the clips wear out from constant opening and closing, so I am ordering some more. I wish I had thought of how to protect her legs sooner - poor thing, she endured lesions for years! She didn't seem to feel them and, amazingly, the wounds never got infected, but they looked terrible and I always was seeking a solution. These clips are fabulous! Her skin is totally healed - I don't think fur regrew on the scar tissue, but her fur is so long that you don't see bare spots. Such a simple solution!

I actually purchased these to clip onto the back of my daughter's pants to bring in the waist. These do a fantastic job and the quality is very good. I'm sure they would do a fine job of keeping mittens clipped on to a jacket as well. If they can stay on the back of a very active toddler's pants, they can stay clipped to anything.
